It was peaceful. The view is just amazing and the house was equipped with everything we needed. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the paddle boats, the swimming pool, and the putt-putt. Definitely recommend.

Idyllic to look out over water from bedroom. Actually only sleeping place for 2 because double couch in living area not convenient for sleeping.

Our stay was good, but would have been better if WiFi was installed. Thought that would have been a norm nowadays. Had problems with SmartView, but the owner and daughter helped to sort this out very quickly and efficiently.
Great apartment, spacious enough for a couple with 2 kids but not for 4 adults. The apartment is located on the top floor, so just a few steps and you're there. We did not meet the host, but chatted with her and she's a caring individual . However, the apartment definitely needs some tender loving care in some aspects: the curtains, carpets, and sofa all need cleaning. My wife and I enjoyed our stay, nonetheless .
Beautiful unit as well as location and view. However, a few things hindered but did not harm our visit. Carport is hopelessly too narrow for a large vehicle, there is no security gate at the front door, the bathtub had no plug. The toaster and cupboard were full of old crumbs. An air fryer and WiFi are a requirement. The TV did not work - "no signal". Cupboards and drawers for visitors' use must please be clean and empty. Broken items should be removed and not hoarded, it creates a poor impression. Toilet paper is only provided for the first day, no cleaning agents or sachets are provided. The broom closet is damp and smelly. There are cigarette butts on the patio, and dirty tiles have been walked on inside. The fridge and stove with pots need a good scrubbing. Please let instructions for visiting guests about rules etc. Access by stairs must be indicated.
Disingenuous not to mention that there is no WiFi - in reading the comments, I see it comes up time and again with no response/undertakings! "TV" a waste of time and impossible to activate but as someone mentioned, few if any watch SABC. Again as mentioned, a smart TV would be fair. No braai tongs or grid so had to purchase and, as mentioned by A N Other, parking space some 500mm smaller than the rest and accordingly scratched my Hilux trying to access - when in I could not open the driver's door so had to back out and leave the vehicle's bum sticking out. Really annoyed re the scrape. Accommodation neat and tidy, position pretty decent, no complaints there. Enjoyable walks and all parties we interacted with pleasant.
Moonlight 36 has the perfect location with the most beautiful views of the mountain river. The unit itself is very neat and well equipped for a comfortable stay. We had a great time. However, I would recommend improvement at the pool area. The area is not kept very clean.
Overall the unit is nice. The shower does leak quite a bit onto the bathroom floor; I don't think the door seals nicely anymore. I'm not crazy about the sleeper couch. I really think a smart TV would be great as most people travel with their own WiFi. The TV with Openview doesn't really work, and nobody watches SABC anymore. But overall the place is really nice and has all that one needs. The complex itself is not bad; it has a nice pool.
Regardless of challenges we had upon our arrival, we enjoyed the stay. It would be to the benefit of all visitors if the owner of the apartment acted preventively to eliminate similar challenges, which we had.
We had an awesome time. The accommodation was perfect for our family. Nice activities on the premises. Very quiet, peaceful and safe.

There is so much to do and especially appreciate if you have a boat. Well rested, just too short.
Highly recommend the apartment for those who need to take their little furbabies with them on vacay, who are not noisy of course. A quiet, peaceful break away from the hustle and bustle of city life, who prefer to spend their days relaxing with a good book, away from TV, cell phones and the normal disturbances, or sipping on a glass of wine taking in the beautiful scenery. Very central with restaurants, pubs, and shops just a stone's throw away.
Lovely setting. The parking bay was a little tight. We had wind for 2 days, but otherwise, it was perfect.
Als was very nice, but we would have appreciated a file with some information - like e.g. how to access the TV channels. A few leaflets with information about restaurants or places of interest would also have been nice - although we know you can find everything on your mobile phone. The trash can in the bedroom still contained the previous visitor's trash - not too bad either, it was just papers.
The place was very clean and comfortable. Everything you need is there and the location is fantastic too.
Would like information on how to get the TV working and a better cleaning of the braai and area around the braai. It would also be good if there could be a security door at the entrance as it is not in a closed complex. The pool was a feast in the heat and we were very grateful for the undercover parking. Many thanks for the light provided during load shedding.
