Clean, tidy, safe, located in the perfect place. And probably the best value for money I have ever booked. The house has crept very deep into one family's hearts and will surely return to Mopanie Villa every year.
Only criticism is that cushions on outdoor hammocks need to be replaced. Had to put blankets underneath to make it more comfortable. Must be replaced.
Very peaceful and beautiful, enjoyed it a lot and rested well.
The animals came to visit us daily and it was an incredible experience. Mopani Villa is very well equipped and would definitely recommend it.

House had everything as described. A few general maintenance needs to be attended to, but have shared directly with the owners. Pool needs cleaning ahead of guests arriving, especially if there has been rain experienced, as we were disappointed to find it green with algae, possibly something to raise with their cleaning team going forward. Otherwise a good experience and we will certainly be returning!
Toilet paper needs to be match the amount of people in the place.
We really enjoyed the break in the forest. The service was also very good.
Many animals came to visit us, most unforgettable memories — 6 giraffes welcomed us on arrival and returned again during the weekend.

Mopani Villa was a nice unit, just don't recommend for people with a fear of heights as the stairs to the master bedroom were a challenge for me. Only negative of the place is that the bathroom downstairs was not too clean. The shower is incredibly dirty, and we couldn't dare go in there without shoes. That's the reason for my 3 out of 5 score. Otherwise, we had a great time. We felt safe, and the animals and night monkeys were a hit.
Location perfect, many animals come to visit. Owners informed us that we could book in earlier and check out later if we wanted. What a privilege it was to be able to fully enjoy the Sunday and to be able to stay longer. You have a very nice house thanks for sharing, will visit again anytime.

It is the perfect place to fully enjoy the outdoors. You are permanently surrounded by animals and the most beautiful birds. The house itself is well furnished and ideal for long visits.
After many years we decided to camp properly. Best place to be peaceful and experience nature.

What an absolutely amazing few days. With power outages in the area, the owners gave us 2 nights free accommodation. The 2 extra days meant that I could be in Marloth and in the Kruger on my birthday. A gift like few. Thank you very much for allowing us to use your wonderful place for the few evenings, clean, tidy and ideally located for any family to keep their holiday dreams in Marloth. We recommend the place to anyone. Owners are friendly and service is excellent.

Had a nice stay. The house needs some upgrading, furniture and bedding are a bit old and tired, but other than that it was nice.
The animals that came to the house were a very nice surprise. It was also nice to just walk in Marlothpark and see the animals along the way. We also had a great stay at Mopani Villa.
Place is not up to standard at all. Kitchen cupboards broken and dirty inside. My wife and I first had to sweep and clean cupboards and tables. The first impression upon arrival was that the mesh at the front door is broken. First night power was off until next morning. No LED lights for assistance in working condition, had to spend whole evening in dark. Stove is broken. Extremely weak. Where does the 8.3 star rating come from. According to me it is a 2 out of 10.
We had a great time, and we can't wait to go again. Lauren was extremely helpful and even let us know about lions that had been seen at the Crocodile River. We also saw an awful lot of animals at home.
Well-equipped accommodation in nature where warthogs, kudus, giraffes, zebras and other small game often visit you. Good value for money and not necessarily luxurious, but everything is there that is needed.
Mopani Villa met all our needs. The zebras and kudus ate out of our hand. We hope to be back soon.
Upon our arrival we were greeted by the giraffes and were privileged to be able to see several species of antelope from the comfort of the porch. The house is comfortably furnished with everything one could need. The board games provided hours of fun in the evenings and ensured that quality family time was spent.
We highly recommend this place. Super clean, fantastic views. Take along food for the animals. If you're lucky they'll eat it out of your hand. The owners keep in touch and send you a guide which is fantastic. Thank you.
