We can 100% recommend it to everyone who loves nature and animals. The accommodation is beautiful and spacious. The service and reception was good and friendly. The breakfast and dinners were delicious, tasty and beautifully presented. The advertisement was a bit misleading, because breakfast is not included in the price.
From arrival till we left, we felt most welcome. The rooms were very comfortable, the food really well prepared&presented and the staff made all this very possible for which we are most thankful. Danie thank you. The owners three kids came by and said hello and it is heartening to speak to such well mannered, kind, hard-working and knowledgable kids.
Morakane is an excellent break from the busy life of JHB. The staff are all friendly and well trained, and Danie and Divan do more than necessary to make guests feel welcome. The food is 5-star quality, and it's clear that the chef is also well trained. We look forward to visiting Morakane again with friends and family.

It was delicious! The lodge is beautiful. The luxury room was beautiful with a king size bed and very nicely furnished. The dinner was delicious! Compliments again to the chef and thanks for the hospitality of the staff on duty.

The lodge has outstanding facilities and best customer services.
Definitely a more of a hunting lodge. Staff knew little about game and birds very heavy masculine decor.
Quiet and beautiful place, animals come very close to the lodge's dining area and can only become people again.

The self-catering unit was luxurious. Clean and neatly equipped with beautiful braai facilities outside. The restaurant and pool area is definitely the place to experience the sunset. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
