The cottage was rather ok. The sleeper couch cushions were not 100%. The main bed is big and lovely. The linen was clean. The cupboards in the kitchen were dirty inside. The bathroom shower heads are not comfortable to shower and the shower leaks a lot. The bathroom sink leaked and the toilet is loose. Overall: a lovely cottage in an ideal location if you want to be centrally located. The cottage just needs some TLC. The owners are prepared for Loadshedding providing a gas stove and LED lights. The Wi-Fi is very poor, could not use TV box and even struggled on our cellphones.
We had a lovely stay at Moramba Cottage during the Algoa Big Walk for Cancer weekend. The room was nice and clean, fully equipped with load shedding essentials. Unfortunately, the WiFi connection was poor and the sleeper couch was uncomfortable. We would have liked to have met our hosts; they sounded like lovely people.
Poor/no contact with owner (and worker could not help with television), the 3rd bed was not prepared (although it was paid, and the mattress not comfortable), the bathroom needs urgent attention (shower is difficult to work or doesn't work properly at all and leaks a lot of water, the toilet is completely loose, "mildew" on the roof). The TV "remote" does not work (not even after I put in new batteries of my own). The gate does not close by itself, not even after I followed instructions from the worker. The bedroom is nicely furnished and comfortable, and the kitchen equipment is of good quality and sufficient.

Very friendly, helpful, the cleaning staff are incredible and very honest. We have been there a few times, this time for 10 days. I can recommend Moramba to anyone. Fantastic owners. With the power outages, the owners have taken special measures, such as flashlights and lamps and even a gas stove. The place is always tip top when one was out. Clean and tidy, never have to ask for toilet paper, always enough. DStv, DVDs etc. Good reading too. Safe, centrally located. We will always stay there, been there for 10 nights now, value for money. This couple knows how to make guests feel welcome.

Love the spaciousness of the cottage. Two 16-year old teenagers found it absolutely safe and relaxing being left alone until our late return at night.

Die badkamer se een stort deur het nie gewerk nie, het daarna geky en die wiele was vas geroes Ek moes vrydag aan n pot skuur wat swart aandebrand was. Dit was so erg ek moes grond gebruik ket buite. Die leeper coach se mattress is klaar. Die prentjie op die Lekka Slaap is nie wat ons gesien het nie.
Was very peaceful and safe. Unit was well equipped and very tidy.

The place was more than we needed. Service is great and owners are friendly. We really enjoyed it.
Nice stay, lovely big bed! Everything was clean and tidy. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
The cottage was adequate for our needs (2 adults, one baby). Location very good for business in Walmer but lots of traffic noise, even at night. Some small issues will make it more attractive: a cordless kettle, finishing the curtain rails in bedroom, tidying up curtains in kitchen so they close properly and a new dishwashing liquid bottle.
We had a lovely stay. The cottage is neat on the inside, but the outside needs some attention. The cottage is also very close to an informal settlement which made us a little uncomfortable.

Very comfortable stay - clean and tidy. Close to Walmer Park and some great restaurants. We will be using the cottage again soon!
Everything is very neatly arranged with covered parking inside the yard with security fences. Air conditioning in bedroom was very welcome.
The unit was neat and clean. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We can recommend the place.
Would have liked the maid to come in on Saturday.
Lovely place, really enjoyed my stay. Very neat, and received a lovely large bed.
