Harold and his wife had been very hospitable. We felt so welcome, as if we were at our own home. My little kids enjoyed it so much and were very comfortable. It was truly a lovely break and would love to go back again.

One room smelled a bit musty/less pleasant. Also had and got everything we needed. Thank you very much.
At least there had to be a TV for the price. Boiler does not switch off. There should be a rubber mat in the shower. Floor very smooth as soon as soap falls on it. Not very safe outside for vehicle, only a low wall. Mesh in front of the window for fresh air and to keep out many mosquitoes. Must put coordinates on ad. Knives can be sharpened a bit.
Clean facilities. Location and surrounding area is beautiful. We had our pets with us, it seems I did not inform the booking agent or the owner but they did allow us to stay for an additional cost, so all was good. Wi-Fi password was not working, and we did inform the owner. Pleasant conversation around the braai later that evening.
It was nice to be received so kindly. We were in the West Wing and felt like kings. I can definitely recommend this guest house. The windmill outside is unique!

We spent a weekend there in Feb and had so much fun! Riebeek-Kasteel is such a cool spot and Moreson Manor was like staying inside a blast from the past (with a pool, running water and lights, lol). The mozzies were a bit annoying, but Peaceful Sleep was provided. The owners are super helpful and we had a great chat with them. Genuinely sad to leave, will definitely return!

I would go back again anytime, had a great time. We had a barbecue with Harold and Natalie on the first night and had a nice chat. Very nice town and there are things you can do and wine tasting etc. I plan to go back again in August or September.

We are from the West Coast. Our initial stop was at Robertson for 2 nights and we decided to stop at Robertson on the way back as well.

Our family spent 3 nights in the West wing of the beautiful Victorian house. We were welcomed like family and an effort was made with advice and stories about the town. The hosts were super nice to our children, who immediately put you at ease. The pool was a blast! Dry swimming pools were provided, even though we swam continuously. It was above 38'C all three days of our visit. The rooms were very comfortable. The rooms are furnished to meet every dear need - even homemade mosquito repellent. The photos make the kitchen look much smaller than it really is. The kitchenette is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We would definitely recommend this place to stay for the personal touch of the hostess and host.

The hostess and host immediately made us feel very welcome when we arrived, until we left on Sunday. The unit was very neat and clean. Fresh flowers, cookies and crackers set out and milk in the fridge showed that the host and hostess care about their guests and want to make them feel at home. I would highly recommend this place to stay and it is perfect for a family or a group of 4 friends.
Upon our arrival we felt right at home. Friendly reception awaited us. The place of residence was very neat and with the beautiful surroundings everything was just very pleasant and we enjoyed the weekend a lot and also felt safe.
Our unit was extremely comfortable and private. The feather pillows and duvet are ideal for a cold winter evening and a sweet night's rest. The beautiful old mansion has been artfully restored with a flair for the rural lifestyle of years past. The fact that the house is located half on the side of the town contributes to the tranquility. Guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, with beautiful antique furniture. It was a lovely surprise to come across this special guest house. At Moreson Manor we got much more than we bargained for!

We were here for the weekend of solo studios. The hostess and host are very friendly. Maybe a little too cozy. The accommodation is spacious and the kitchen fully equipped. In the one bedroom there is only a bath so we had to shower in our friends room, which was actually not a problem. There is a lovely, sunny veranda where we spent a lot of time. I would recommend the accommodation.

I would recommend Moreson Manor without hesitation. The only drawback would be that apart from a microwave oven, no stove.

Natalie and Harold were very hospitable. The unit is well equipped, clean and located in a good location. Even though the town offers many restaurants, we decided to have a barbecue. Great if you want to escape from city life and plan to do "road trips" to other towns nearby.

We really enjoyed our two nights' stay in Riebeek-Kasteel! It felt like we were in another time with the classic style of the house - loved it. Everything was very neat and it had been wonderfully quiet.

It feels like one's parents' home to which one returns. Felt very peaceful and comfortable there.
Didn't like the open toilet setup. The mattress was the worst we have ever slept on. Our rue was off the next day and we slept very badly through the night. Will only sleep there again if they get new mattresses. The owner also wanted the rest of the amount two weeks before our arrival. We didn't give it to them as we didn't know what the place looked like or if it would still exist when we got there. We also did not get a receipt for the rest of the amount after we paid it.

Mixed feelings. Characterful old house, friendly owner and lovely village. However, certain aspects of the guest house were less acceptable, e.g. the shower floor that isn't even tiled, the kitchenette glass door without a curtain (you can see right through to the bathroom), and the fact that we had to leave the back door unlocked so other guests could turn off the outside light when they want to go to sleep (the light switch is in the kitchen) ...
Loved our time at Moreson! Looking forward to go back to stay there again. Private yet homely, the pool was fantastic on the hot summer days!
