I had a great time. Mosquitoes only bothered the 1st night, but went to buy Mosquitio cream spray for the night. The roof of the bathroom could do with a bit of painting and there isn't really anything to watch on TV.

The noisy funeral service from 7h30 on the same premises was unpleasant for me.
We stayed in the [pilot room for the night. The venue itself is stunning! Beautiful place for a wedding, the Cape Dutch style with the big trees made it feel like the Cape Winelands. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating! The rooms were clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The rates were perfect for the accommodation provided.

Morgenzon is a pleasant destination to overnight. Parking is a breeze and the surroundings really nice and well tended.
Relaxed in the city, but felt like we were somewhere in the Cape on a wine farm!
The stay was very good. The breakfast was a disappointment - not taste, it was very nice but for what we got and what we paid, the breakfast is not value for money. My wife had 2 fried eggs with toast and a small beef sausage. I had an omelette with cheese and beef sausage as filling along with 1 slice of toast. My two children each had 1 egg sandwich and 1 piece of toast. The breakfast cost me R 340.00 which I don't think was value for money - if it was a buffet I would have understood but our choices were limited. I really think that the breakfast should be cheaper but overall everything was good.
Just wasn't happy that the air-con didn't work well.
Great for a destination wedding or conference but I didn’t feel like it served well as a guesthouse. Very little communication from hosts, quick key handover on arrival and then nothing. There’s no dinner and as I was travelling alone and no car, it was not convenient. I could hear the people talking in the room adjacent to mine which isn’t great. It is served well by Uber as it is next to the Wonderboom airport. On check out - nobody to be found - so just ended up leaving my room key on a desk.
Received a friendly welcoming, every room is neat and has a good layout with privacy. The rooms are well equipped with a fridge, coffee, tea and a TV. The guard at the gate was friendly and helpful. Was very satisfied with the service and the accommodation.

We had a delightful visit to Morgenzon and the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The only suggestion we have is that when it comes to towels and linen not to make any compromise as quality makes all the difference. The linen was of good quality, but the towels need to be replaced. We will definitely return and can strongly recommend the estate. They have a lovely Wednesday evening boma braai under the stars. Thank you Herma for going the extra mile - you have a wining recipe. See you soon!

The moment we drove in, it felt like we had gone for a spin somewhere in the Cape. The well-kept gardens added to the beauty. The "stables" are modernly furnished with a warm "I'm at home" feeling. The attention to detail was striking. At breakfast we were greeted politely and the food was delicious. We were also unexpectedly surprised with sparkling wine which made the experience that much more special.
Stunning place with lovely garden. My dog had a great stay too.
Very nice stay. Great location next to the airstrip, but may bother others. Very neat, well equipped room. All that bothered me was the sound coming from the neighbouring room, especially when they start to talk at 04:30 without stopping!
