28 guests' feedbackBeautiful! The 12 of us (5 children and 7 adults) were able to live and sleep comfortably. Excellently equipped, lovely fireplaces and beautiful surroundings.
Our stay was highly enjoyable, the bees were just a bit busy.
We will definitely visit Morgenzon again. The photos don't do it justice, it's beautiful inside and out. There is more than enough room for a group of 12 people. The fireplace in each room made it very cozy. Really value for money.
Morgenzon is a gem about 8km from Dullstroom. It's the ideal destination for a large group with restless children. There is plenty of play space and the scenery is breathtaking. Rachel, the housekeeper, is an absolute gem and an asset to the farm. We will definitely visit Morgenzon again.
Lovely, peaceful environment. Very nice stay, tidy, everything available in the house.
Family retreat. Enjoyed the fishing, saw the fish but they saw us too. Flew kites and took some walks. Spacious and warm home. Enjoyed the weekend immensely. This was our second visit and we will be back.
An absolutely incredible place for a short getaway.
More spray lights around the house for safety, and also possibly Wi-Fi since there is not much phone reception will offer rather more peace of mind.
The farmhouse is idyllic and in such a beautiful place, especially with all the dams in such easy reach. Once you get there, you feel like you don't want to leave. In the wet weather 4x4 and good ground clearance are essential.
We were a large group but there were plenty of rooms and bathrooms, space and privacy for everyone. The children could play on the grass and run around. The house inside is very beautiful and the fireplaces create a nice atmosphere. It's probably more beautiful in person than in the photos.
The pictures don't do this place justice. The surroundings are stunning. Its quite and well kept. It is a little bit outdated in terms of furniture. The staff and owner are very friendly and very very helpful. Rachel is an absolute star. The road in after rain, is not great but high clearance cars do the job. Great stop for a group of friends or extended family trips to Dullstroom. Highly recommended and really enjoyed by our group of 10.
We enjoyed the place with guests, grandma and grandpa and our families. Large kitchen and living area worked very well for us. The house lives deliciously.
Beautiful, spacious and beautiful.
Fantastic getaway. No internet and sparse cellphone signal meant a complete break from work. Well-stocked trout dams and scenic beauty and tranquility beyond compare. A perfect place for a family get-together (grandparents, parents and grandchildren). Only concern is the need to watch small children due to the absence of a garden gate to stop them going to the water if unattended. Roaring fires and comfy sofas made a perfect setting for card and board games and relaxing with a good book. We had a fantastic stay and would visit again.
Nice, large, well fitted house for a large group to have a exclusive breakaway. Beautiful setting and spot to relax and experience nature. Road access needs the right vehicle. But enjoyed our stay.
The photos don't do it justice. Beautiful house and surroundings. We had a great stay and would certainly visit again.
The house is very spacious and well equipped. Not at all a case where guests were in each other's way. Cycling on the property is safe with no traffic to watch out for. The fireplaces were very cozy but the underfloor heating made the fireplaces more of an option than a necessity. The house and property were very neat and clean. Will definitely visit again.
Absolutely beautiful! This would be my dream home if I stayed in Dullstroom. Fireplaces in almost every room. Amazing host. Just perfect.
Great stay for a large group. Can probably use a little revamp, but otherwise very comfortable.
See stars.
House needs attention, linen needs replacing. Some of the beds and mattresses in bad condition. No trout in the ponds. Nice visit home, nice farm. Will visit again. Rachel is fantastic.
Ideal for large groups. Nice quiet environment, clean and neat. Will stay there again.
We were looking for accommodations to accommodate our entire family, attachments and grandchildren under one roof for a family weekend before our oldest son moved to Texas with his family. Morgenzon exceeded our wildest expectations! The house could accommodate all ten of us in beautiful rooms equipped with electric blankets, down duvets and pillows and even fireplaces in most of the rooms. The spacious, cozy living area with a beautiful view of the picture book pretty hills and ponds was exactly what we had in mind. Rachel was a superb hostess who pretty much spoiled us! The little ones also had loads of fun exploring the surroundings. In the early evening when the coolness was creeping up on us, the fireplaces were lit. The farm hosts a large variety of birds. The Piet-my-vrou's continuous call and the Paradise Flycatcher's flitting back and forth to bring food to the nest a few steps from the stoep, made us long to go back to the Bushveld! We will definitely visit Morgenzon again, but next time we will stay longer!
The scenery is beautiful. It feels as if one is hidden from the busy world. Plenty of ponds for fishing, the wind blowing through the enormous trees, bird life and frogs make one instantly relax. Lovely house, nice and cool when it's hot outside. Provision has been made for when the weather is cold ─ fireplaces, warm blankets, lovely beds and soft bedding, enough space for hanging out outside and inside. Love the pizza oven and Rachel is happy to help with all her pizza making experience. Would go again anytime!
Another great weekend at Morgenzon. Rachel and Benjamin provided comfort, a clean and warm house. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Will definitely visit again.

Wonderful house, beautiful surroundings, friendly and helpful staff and great fishing. Please add signage on the gates to avoid getting lost.
