Unbelievably nice stay, with beautiful views. Feels like a farmhouse.
Had a very nice break.
It was really very special. We got there late on Friday night and realized we hadn't even taken food with us and when we asked Jaques where we could buy food, he said everything was already closed. The next morning we got 2 delicious muffins at one unit. It was so special. We will definitely go again.
It was the break in nature everyone needs. We particularly enjoyed the birdlife.
They just need to pay attention to their drains. It smells in the bathrooms.

Had a great time. Nice and quiet and just right to get away from the city. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way when we got there a little late and we were all very hungry. Jaques they quickly put together hamburgers for us even though it was already after 18:00. Will definitely go again.

A quiet place to relax, the scenery is tops. The kids loved the pool and the chickens, ducks and peacock.
Great stay. Warm water at the sink would be nice. The lights were also bit confusing and we could not get it on.

Nothing to say but all I know is if you don't book there you are missing out a lot, nothing beats going there to relax, so much to do and see around there. They definitely see us again.
The owners are very hospitable and friendly and willing to help. The breakfast and hamburgers were very tasty and the view was perfect.

Very helpful staff. If something is needed or doesn't work, they fix it right away.
The outside areas were pleasant and it was nice to hang out on the large porch. The large unit we stayed in was not clean. It's an old rondavel with attached rooms. The new part's bathroom was acceptable, but not the one serving the old rondavel. Even though it is old, more effort could be made to keep the carpets, shower, toilet area and kitchen clean. It was hot and better fans would have made the period more comfortable too.
Would like to see hot water at sink for dishes. The units are close to each other and the neighbour's music bothers, perhaps music should not be played at units.
Had a very quiet and peaceful stay. With a beautiful view. Safe for young children.

I needed a one night stay for myself and 2 kids near Loskop dam. Mossienes was perfect. We booked the rondavel and had lots of space. We arrived at lunchtime and had a very good, well priced lunch. We came back a little later that evening and had remote access to the entrance gate so it was easy for us to get back in. Unfortunately the nearby restaurant and bar had some deafeningly loud music playing until very late on Saturday evening and started again early on Sunday morning; this ruined the probably normal peaceful place a lot. Breakfast was excellent and the deck where meals are served has amazing views over the river. Once again, spoiled by the loud music from the restaurant down the road. Sadly out of control of the owners of Mossienes.
So many places discovered and others not even visited. You see me again!
Very quiet, peaceful and the right place to rest.
Great self catering destination. Just remember to bring your own towel, coffee/tea, sugar and milk. I forgot, but we were helped with towels.
They wanted to give us 1 of the smaller places because we were only 4 people. But I took the bigger place precisely because it gave a little more privacy and we had to finish the Saturday for my stepson's wedding. And 2 women with 1 bathroom and no privacy would not work. We then found the bigger place, but it was not cleaned. The other toilet didn't work! And it was just as if they assumed we were going to take 1 of the other spots. And when we had to go out there was no one to receive the key, I drove up and down knocking everywhere to see if we could get hold of someone. And in the end is back to just sit and wait. Some of the other guests finally told us to throw the key in the key box at the gate because she had come to tell them all the night before that they would not be there to receive the key. I think they were told they had to come and do an inspection, so that wasn't done either. We just feel the communication could improve. But otherwise the place is very nice and peaceful.
Lady was pleasant, but heavy rain had caused havoc with electricity and connectivity.
