Activities include mountain biking, canoeing, hiking, bird-watching, and swimming in the river. In addition to the opportunities for hiking and swimming on the property, Mount Ceder Puntjie is also within driving distance of many other Cederberg attractions and various 4x4 routes.
The Cederberg region is only 2 and a half hours from Cape Town and yet the landscape is completely different from that of the Mother City; wilder and warmer with raw, dramatic beauty.

There is no cell phone reception at Mount Ceder. The closest service is 30 km away; where the gravel road ends on your way to Mount Ceder. Free Wi-Fi access is only available at the reception building and restaurant area.
Please note that there is a gravel road about 35 km long when coming from Ceres direction, and 85km long from Citrusdal direction leading to the establishment. Guests are required to enquire about the condition of the road, before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
