We needed a secluded place to quietly celebrate my wife's birthday as a family, not too far from JNB/PTA city. Nothing on their website or marketing material was exaggerated. We got our money's worth. It's also conveniently close to The Maropeng - Cradle of Humankind, which we added as an activity for the kids" education and entertainment. The bonus was being warmly welcomed and our hosts going the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Upon arrival, our car had an issue going up the hill, and our hosts assisted in every possible way to make the experience bearable. Quinton and his partner made sure that we got our luggage and kids up to the rooms, and eventually our car. Fantastic stay overall.

We had a wedding in the area and chose to stay here. It was the perfect place, big space, tidy and everything you need was there. We felt safe and said we would definitely go back for a weekend away.

We had an amazing experience. A campsite all to ourselves! The owner was super friendly and we were well informed about everything. We just loved every minute of our stay at Mount Nebo and felt 100% safe. The horses were definitely a huge bonus! I loved my stay.
The view is incredible. It is dead quiet and assures you of rest. The people there are incredibly helpful and go out of their way to help and assist.
The view is beautiful.
It was ideal for our purpose: to participate in a bike race, sleeping area is comfortable with a kitchen. Suggestion: a two-plate stove would also work nicely for guests staying longer and then extra dishes for cooking. New stoep will be a nice hanging out area.
The road up is a bit rough, but it's worth it, for the views.

Road to room not intended for normal cars, must use 4x4 or suv.
Beautiful view from the top of the hill over Cradle. Special sun-downer spot at the very top where you can hear lions roaring.
It was a privilege to meet these hospitable people and share their love and dreams for Mount Nebo. They put in so much effort and the braai area at the top of the mountain has the most beautiful view and is very well equipped.
The stay was comfortable and it was clean and tidy, there are beautiful views, the access road could do with a bit of work. Very washed out.
We had a great stay. Beth went out of her way to make verything as comfortable as possible for us. Mount Nebo is located in a very beautiful area with a stunning view over the surrounding area. Neat and clean.
We had a great stay and the owners were very friendly and went out of their way to arrange a barbecue evening under the trees for us with friends and family outside. Thanks also for the fresh milk in the fridge. Beautiful view and very peaceful.
Bev was so willing to assist us with anything we needed. She made sure we knew where everything was and that we were comfortably set up. The accommodation was clean and had a lovely view!
