The unit opens up to a wraparound balcony with beautiful views of the bushveld and Kransberg mountains. 6 guests' feedbackOur 4 nights in Mount Olivet Luxury Tent was everything we hoped for! The tent offers everything one needs and is very tastefully done. There are nice and comfortable seats inside and outside the tent where you can sit and read, or just sit and drink in the beauty of the forest. The nights were bitterly cold, but the air conditioning, fluffy down duvet and extra warm blanket kept us nice and warm. The kitchen is equipped with everything one needs. Even the towels in the bathroom are soft and luxurious. The view from the tent is incredibly beautiful and we had a nice barbecue on the Weber on the deck, while the sunset turns the mountains in front of us pink and the nyalas, roebucks and blesboks pass by towards the water hole. Braai wood is also available from the owner at a very reasonable price. The ground is big enough to walk around on. We also had a great time in Marakele National Park, which is only a few minutes drive away. We returned home with our batteries properly recharged!
What a great experience! The nature around you is special. So calm! Will definitely go again. All that might be a problem/obstacle is that everything is solar. In winter it does not charge as well, so power must be used very sparingly. No WiFi - but mobile signal is very good. No television. No cleaning service, you are responsible for cleaning up the tent after the time.
We totally enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and tranquil. Very clean and cosy luxury tent with a well-stocked kitchenette (they even provided a box of matches ). The host did outstandingly as a host.
We had a wonderful stay. It was so relaxing and quiet. The star gazing at night was incredible, and our host was very helpful. Great place to recharge.

Beautiful setting with an all-round mountain view. We enjoyed the peaceful braai area and the multi-coloured Bushveld birds that visit during the day. The finer touches add so much - the books, the games in the coffee-table drawers, the luxurious towels. And - solar power! No load shedding!
