The accommodation was located close to the busy Hermanus, as well as the Hemel en Aarde valley. We could also comfortably walk to the beach with our animals. It was delicious.
We had such a special stay in this immaculate beautiful unit. There were so many thoughtful touches from the coffee machine to a supply of wood with blitz for the hot tub and so much more in between. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and our time in this unit. Our host was warm, welcoming and accommodating to our needs. We had a wonderful stay!
The beach down the road. We took romantic pictures there and the eating place was wonderful. The people down the road where we stayed were warm-hearted. But we loved the house.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is clean, tidy and spacious. We really appreciated all the thoughtful "extras", such as the coffee pods, first aid kit, coffee and biscuits, milk and a bag of wood. Rod went to great lengths with directions and things to do in the area. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet and the gated unit offers enough privacy. We will definitely stay here again.
We were a family of 4 and we loved our stay. Close enough to the beach to hear the ocean. Attention to detail You will lack for nothing. The fire tub was the kids' highlight. Very friendly host who happily saw to any and all of our needs. Will definitely go back.

We took our 2 mini schnauzers with us and had a wonderful day at Mountain and Sea Cottage in Sandbaai. It was clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was also a gorgeous treat for the cold winter nights! Rod was a brilliant host and assisted with our every whim. The place is close to the beach and I walked every day with my doggos. Felt really safe and happy here. We also drove through Hemel en Arde Valley with our dogs as it was just up the road. Loads of dog-friendly places. We were so grateful to find a dog-friendly accommodation that has a proper walled area and gate. It was like a home away from home. We will be back!
Our stay at Mountain and Sea Cottage was very pleasant. The owner, Rod, sent us a detailed WhatsApp on time with all the necessary information as well as suggestions for restaurants. The unit is beautiful and colorful. The children enjoyed the Smart TV and Wi-Fi and my wife and I could start every morning with a Nespresso coffee. Will definitely want to visit there again.
This was truly such a special stay. The place is very beautiful. the dishwasher, Nespresso and washing machine was a pleasant surprise. The owner, Rod, communicated with us well before the time and made sure all our needs are met. The short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops was great, to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life.
We were very impressed with the accommodation. The best equipped accommodation where we have stayed. Attention has been paid to detail. Would definitely recommend them. Thank you very much.
In short, everything you need to use the place is right in front of you. Easy access to the town and surrounding beach. The proper sense of slowed time and isolation a getaway should offer.
