Mountain Dew Cottage comprises 2 bedrooms of which one has a queen-size bed and a bunk bed and the other room has 1 single bed and a bunk bed.
There is a portable braai on the deck as well as a braai drum and braai pit in the garden.
The Blue Room is a third room and has its own bathroom and a kitchenette. This unit can be booked separately but also included with the main cottage for a family or larger group. The Blue Room has 2 single beds and is not suitable for very tall people as the ceiling is low.
Each unit is equipped with self-catering facilities and water tanks in case of water-shedding. We also have load-shedding bulbs for load-shedding.
All guests have access to Wi-Fi and a TV with DStv access package channels.
Parking is off-road next to the cottage.

It was cosy and refreshing.
A wonderful place to spend the night! Friendly hostess, everything was super neat and practically furnished. Nothing that could break (ideal for a family with small children). I could hang up my wet laundry. We will definitely stay there again.
Very hot when we arrived, but there were fans in the rooms which helped.
Quiet among trees. It was away from town, but still close enough. Directions could improve. We had trouble finding a caravan.

The cottage is clean and well looked after. The hostess helped us out by putting out lights and a gas bottle when the power went out. There were plenty of blankets for the cold weather and the kitchen is well equipped. A cost effective and pleasant stay for touring groups or families with teens.
Nice stay over. It is budget, but you get a lot of bang for your buck. It is way better equipped than places twice the price where we have stayed. We will definitely stay at Mountain Dew Cottage again.

I stayed in Loerie house. It is a small wood cottage and good value for money. The hosts are very friendly and the cottage is well equipped and sparkling clean. I will definitely stay there if I return to Grahamstown.

We had a little trouble finding the place, but the lady that runs the place was very nice and met us by the university. She was very welcoming and the place was well kept and clean.
