Was a great stay. Very friendly reception. Host very helpful and gave us valuable tour tips! No music allowed here, so leave that behind. Sadly, our stay was cut short by an emergency back at the office in JHB!
Spent the weekend there for a golf tournament whilst a bit far from the golf course the drive and beauty of the lodge were well worth it. Hosts went out of the way to ensure comfort and serenity. Just lovely a gem in SA.

A genuine bushland retreat snugly tucked away in the beautiful valley in the middle of rich birdlife and natural beauty, with picture-perfect views and sunsets. Very friendly reception, with more than adequate room: fully equipped just like it would be at home! We rested very well, and had a very good barbecue. Would definitely recommend Mountain Valley Stay!

Very nice place, rooms were very clean and there was also nice space in the room. We received good service and relaxed with the night owls sounds with a sun bag, people just have to be careful as they turn off onto the dirt road, it's a sudden turn and very hidden between bushes on a main road. Will use Mountain Valley Stay again.
