The kitchen and living room is open-plan, and has cooking amenities with crockery and cutlery provided. The living room has neat seating arrangements and a TV that has selected DStv channels, as well as a sliding door which leads out to a covered verandah, where guests can relax in camping chairs and make use of braai facilities.
Moya Cottage is close to all amenities in the Underberg village and is perfect as a base to explore Himeville and the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg Park.

Simple cottage but with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The only thing that could be improved is a new braai, as the current braai is way past its design lifetime, but we still managed to cook and enjoy a meal.
Love the braai area and had a braai every day! Huge kitchen with everything we needed. Lots of hikes in the area as well as the museum in Himeville. Great location because it was close to everything we wanted to do.
Very nice place with all amenities. Braai kettle should definitely be replaced along with the braai grills. Would prefer markers to be placed on the alarm button that each push button does. The alarm gave problems and could not be set off. I then just turned off the alarm's supply. The shower does need attention with a leak to the outside as well as some attention to the interior walls which need renovation.
The cottage has everything you need and is well located in a quiet area. Some maintenance issues need to be addressed, such as the damp walls and painting, but overall very nice and well suited for people visiting the Drakensberg as there are a number of activities in the area.
We were asked to stay in a different house due to double booking. Other house was same standard as Moya Cottage.

The cottage is very well maintained and the fireplace was a winner. Sufficient secure parking and security lights around the building. Was able to find it easily too.
We thoroughly enjoyed having a fireplace for the cold nights and mornings, huge closed off yard for our 2 year old to run around in and conveniently situated close to everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer, super relaxing! Thank you Sophie for being so helpful.

The braai facilities are available, please provide. only wire brushes and cleaning facilities for braai. You have to seal the roof: that beautiful furniture got wet from the rain and we had to move it to avoid getting wet. More information can be provided about the surroundings and attractions. Will definitely stay there again.
The facilities were adequate for a 2-star rating. A few extras such as bedside lamps in the master bedroom and a shelf or table in the bathroom to place bath bags on are highly recommended. Otherwise the place was perfect for our needs. The communication with the hostess was sufficient and effective. We had a good time and made a fire in the fireplace, as the weather was cold and rainy. I would happily recommend Moya Cottage.
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage, we had everything we needed and the location was perfect voor the Lesotho tour.

We didn't arrive until late afternoon, and left very early again, so we can't honestly comment further.
Very nice place. Private, quiet. Thanks for the nice fireplace. We had a great time.
There was only one small fault with our stay. There was no hot water when we got there. The geyser was off.
A small water leak from the roof in the lounge, and the stove tripped the power once. But otherwise a really nice well equipped house. Would love to return sometime.
The cottage was exactly what we expected, except that there were extra hot water bags, electric blankets and wood for the fireplace (which was a wonderful surprise). There were water problems in the town, but that was also provided and the owner was available to help.

The unit is very outdated and needs a lot of renovation. The paint is peeling off the walls and the ceilings are full of mold marks as the roof has leaked. In general, the place is not tidy at all. The neighbors' doef-doef music also continued from early to late at night.
What a lovely little cottage. A bit cold when you walk in, but once the fireplace gets going, warm water bottles get filled up (such a lovely touch) and a bottle of some nice wine gets opened it really does become warm and cosy. It was very clean, tidy and had all the basics you could require for a braai, home cooked meal etc. A lovely affordable little cottage for those looking to escape to the cool, clean, fresh and crisp mountain air.
Owner made a lot of effort to accommodate an extra adult at the very last minute. Place is clean and all of the necessary is there for a nice stay.
Nicely rested there, everything was neat and clean.
Easy check in and unit was ready.
Electric blankets for winter will be nice.

Moya Cottage is a perfect place to chill out in chilly weather in Underberg. We enjoyed our stay and had no problems or complaints at all. Sani pass tour guide stores are nearer and closer even the spar and garages are closer too. A perfect destination for holiday.
The place is so beautiful. Fresh air. Absolute silence compared to the noise pollution in Durban.

It is a lovely place to stay for a very good price. There is not much to do at the cottage itself apart from relaxing in front of the fireplace, but a nice place on the way to Lesotho or elsewhere.
Our stay was pleasant and the Underberg environment was a great and enjoyable experience.
The self-catering tools were complete. They have nice comfortable chairs and full TV, a lovely bed, we slept well. There is a fireplace with wood available. OB Sherrie was also available. There is a nice place for the children to play. There was one problem: The hot water gas burner was faulty (I think it had been like that for a few days) and we got cold water every now and then. The owner let us know the next day that a technician would sort out the problem.

I prefer carpets on the floors in the mountains. The floors could have been cleaner. Just a shower, no bath. Personally, I will not go there again. It is more suitable for families. Owner was very concerned and helpful. Well equipped. Well and conveniently located. Once the garden is established, it will be very pleasant. Was safe after all. Full DStv was a big plus! I was VERY impressed with LekkeSlaap!
