5 star service from the confirmation of the accommodation, the warm reception at the car, the take to the room and then the wonderful view and beautiful room. Nice milk in the fridge makes coffee just different. What a delicious breakfast in such a peaceful dining room and the friendly reception at breakfast. It was a lovely experience and it felt like home. Our hostess came regularly to make sure everything was in order. Sent us load shedding schedules, restaurants and places to visit. She even made restaurant reservations for us. During load shedding we were invited for coffee which she made on the gas stove. We had a great time. We will definitely visit there again.
Lovely spacious room and bathroom. Everything was practically furnished and the service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and the morning coffee exceptional.
Located near the heart of Clarens. From the first day, the owners made us very welcomed and they were always there during breakfast to ensure that guests are satisfied (this is a wonderful experience I will never forget; a breakfast with a personal touch). The staff is also well experienced and professional. Most of the fruits were picked fresh from the garden (this is a plus). P.S. We even got chocolates every day during our stay. The room is beautiful and the garden is maintained to perfection.
The owner (new since August) and the reception were amazing. They (Lauren) even remembered my birthday and did something special at breakfast that morning. We had a problem with the shower and a solution was found immediately to assist us. Thanks for hospitality and conversation. Place can only be recommended.
Mt Horeb was a great experience with very good and friendly customer service. They welcomed us kindly and the rooms have a particularly beautiful view towards the Maluti mountains. The rooms are very nicely laid out and have been adapted to take loadshedding into account. Mt Horeb has a very nice breakfast that I would recommend to other visitors.
Only one night stayed and would happily have stayed longer.
It's a beautiful place, but there is no water or electricity with loadshedding. They have to provide in today's time. The bathroom also needs attention.
Was great, hosts very friendly and helpful. Maybe they can just hire more staff to prepare breakfast as we waited long.
We needed to move the kettle from where it was at the coffee station to a plug point on the ground. They just need to put in a 1 m extension lead to fix this problem. The toilet seat needs to be replaced! More needs to be done to provide proper/sufficient lighting for the room during load shedding. No light in the bathroom during loadshedding. Wi-Fi in our room was very poor, however in the eating area that was better reception.
Only problem encountered was no water during load shedding.

Mt Horeb is a fantastic b&b. The owners are super friendly and so hospitable. The rooms are amazing, super clean and luxurious. A short walk from the main square makes this b&b worth every cent. I would definitely recommend this spot. This was our second stay here and we will be back.

The rooms are very large and comfortable although the bed was very hard. The single ply toilet paper was also disappointing. It was wonderful to have breakfast in the room. A quiet place in Clarens.
Excellent service and Ursula is an amazing lady. She really went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She even helped me with electricity for my SnoMaster fridge we had in the car. Safe and very beautiful setting.
