The cottage has everything you need and a swimming pool! The farm is calm and spacious. Clara & Jaco are lovely hosts. They are very helpful and always willing to give tips regarding activities. Big plus: they have 3 beautiful dogs. Definitely recommend it! Thank you again for our amazing stay!
Peaceful rural setting.
Jaco and Clara are the cutest people and we didn't want to drive there at all on our departure date, but unfortunately the cottage was rented out. The place was spotless and beautiful with the furniture they used. It was really such a pleasure and they went out of their way to give us information about the area. We will definitely use it again if we come to that area.
Great overnight (despite loadshedding), super beds and linen, an excellent view across the farm, swimming for kids, and a short hiking trail that is a delight. All the fynbos varieties, a million pebbles of every colour and an excellent view of the surrounding landscape. Well-penned-in ostriches presented us with an unexpected show. Just a few hours but such a rich experience. Thank you Clara and Jaco. Xoxo.
We had a nice stay for one night. Clara and Jaco were excellent hosts and made us feel very much at home. Most beautiful view from porch and pool area and children enjoyed the nearby farm animals.
From the moment we stopped at the accommodation, we felt at home. We received the warmest welcome from Clara and immediately knew we were going to have a great stay. The unit was super neat with everything we needed. Despite load shedding, our hostess made sure we could make coffee, and had lights to use in the dark. The view from the stoepie took our breath away and we sat on the stoepie every evening and enjoyed the natural beauty and silence. We wanted to barbecue on the night of our arrival, and everything was packed and at hand, from wood, to a barbeque cart and dry pine cones and small twigs which ensured that we could get the fire going without difficulty. Clara indicated routes when I inquired if I could go jogging and the jogging shoes were packed. The environment is so peaceful and beautiful. The pool was well used in the heat and was a nice escape after a hot day. I can recommend Muldersbank Cottage without hesitation. I will definitely stay there again if we have to stay in Oudtshoorn again.
The owners treated us very well. Our stay at Muldersbank was very nice. It felt like we were visiting close family. We will definitely want to stay there again in the future.

We travelled with our 8 year old and much older daughter. The cottage is beautiful and well located on a farm outside of Oudtshoorn. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of driving and it was fabulous being able to walk around on the farm looking at the animals. The views are beautiful and the hosts are super friendly.
Clara and Jaco received us well and at all times ensured that we enjoyed the peaceful break. Their place was better than we expected. 10/10. Will definitely visit Muldersbank again. Would go again anytime.
