Murchison View Cottage is situated deep in the African bush and within the communal grounds of the main farmhouse. Guests can enjoy the privacy and seclusion of a bush retreat, with the security and warm hospitality of the owners nearby. The farm is located 13 km from the town of Gravelotte.

The cottage comprises 2 bedrooms and an open-plan kitchen and lounge. Each bedroom can accommodate 2 guests and the beds can either be made into double beds or single beds, as requested, as the beds are interchangeable. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. Both bedrooms have French doors that open up onto the patio overlooking the garden.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, oven and stove, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and the lounge leads onto the patio. Guests have access to braai facilities in the boma, and can enjoy sitting round the fire at night listening to the African sounds.

The cottage is situated on a working game farm, and guests can enjoy activities available on the farm, including accompanying farm staff to feed the game, bird watching and game viewing. The cottage is an ideal base to visit many attractions in the surrounding area, such as Kruger National Park.
