Mysthill Farm is a beautiful farm and the silence is heavenly. My dog and I really enjoyed the stay. The fresh products from the farm are very tasty and would definitely recommend the Camembert. A dream weekend out of the city!
Special location and very friendly staff and neat houses and neat braai facilities! The coffee & cake at the deli was amazing and the owner put in a lot of effort during the festive season! I would recommend this place for a nice getaway in the summer months as the area is always a bit cooler than George. We were a bit unlucky with the weather, so couldn't make full use of the pool, so will have to come back for this! The area also offers nice walking routes and is a 5-minute drive from the famous paddock with delicious pizza.
The most magical stay. It's peaceful and tranquil. Simba, Chester, and Roxy visiting make it even more special. The friendly staff and the view are to die for.

If you are looking for tranquility and have done all the shopping for your stay at the accommodation, I would recommend it. However, we did not stay there because it was a bit far from the nearest town and the dirt road there was not suitable for our vehicle.
1. Very dirty and a lot of spiders. 2. Shower heads are not properly installed. 3. Shower drain overflowing. 4. Had to pay for wet wood.
Perfect, most beautiful spot and just around the corner you get to try the produce from the farm and everything is just perfect! One of my best travel experiences in a long time.
Friends from Austria and I spent two nights at Mysthill in a two bedroom unit. The unit is well and stylishly equipped - everything has been thought of! We enjoyed the farm atmosphere with views of the Outeniqua mountains so much and I look forward to a next visit! The Austrians were just as enthusiastic!

We regard Eco Cottage at Mysthill Farm as one of our best experiences ever, not even 30min from George! Humble but very well equipped, has fantastic views, and silence (except for the obligatory Hadida's), with lots of potential for walks, cycling, and driving. "Self-catering" is very widely interpreted but the Eco cottage is really well equipped for self-catering and arriving with (amongst others) a whole 1L of fresh milk (complimentary) in the fridge, is a really nice touch. The hot tub also adds hugely to the amazing experience. We would love to come again!
Go relax and enjoy the silence. Do not take your hair dryer or hot tongs with you. No 220v power. Just solar panels for lights and gas for hot water. Dirt road to the farm. Drive slowly.

The beauty and tranquility is a pleasure for the soul. Picture beautiful, something that everyone has to experience for themselves to really believe it. The hot tub is a winner. We could stay there for a week or more, packing was difficult. I burst into tears the morning of our departure as I sat looking out over the Outeniqua mountains, coffee in hand. It did my spirit good, exactly what I needed. Brought us closer together as spouses. Thank you very much Mark and husband for the incredible time. We will definitely see you again soon.
We stayed at Mysthill for 4 nights and it was amazing. The view over the farm, nature and the animals is like something out of a fairy tale. Upon our arrival at 9 o'clock in the evening, our fridge was packed with the most wonderful products of our choice from Mysthill Farm. Mark was so friendly and helpful in helping us with everything we needed. We had the privilege of experiencing farm life first hand and it was amazing. We will definitely travel there again. Thanks again to Mark and Fiona for a wonderful birthday weekend.
Comfortable accommodation in a peaceful environment with a breathtaking view. We were warned about the road because rain but was in better condition than we expected. Mark was very friendly and helpful.
I would highly recommend Mysthill Farm Cottages. Farm tranquility and yet you are close to nice restaurants and beaches. The incredibly beautiful view from the extremely comfortable and cuddly bed is an avalanche for the soul. The cottage is very well equipped with absolutely everything you need. It's cosy, yet there's plenty of space. An open fireplace inside keeps it deliciously warm. There is even a Jacuzzi in which one can sink while staring at the mountains. Luxury. The owner, Mark, is very friendly and hospitable. We will definitely go again.
The views from the cottage are amazing. The peaceful surroundings are perfect for a quiet getaway from the busy city life. The cottage was very neat and little details like shampoo and body wash was appreciated. And of course the rechargeable lamp and gas for loadshedding! The staff are very friendly and helpful if you need anything. We will definitely be back.

What a perfect place to escape and rest. With the horses that stand and braai with you, and come every now and then to say hello and the beautiful view, it really is a bucket list destination.
What a gem. A bit of confusion as to where to go when you get there as there was no reception and I didn't receive the message that was sent to us. But got to the cottage and fell in love with the views. Rolling green hills. Comfortable cottage with all you need, just that there was no door on the bathrooms, but we worked around this. Also impressed as the farm workers cottage is very close, but they kept the noise down and besides the kids laughing, there was no loud music. Loved having the cows and horses grazing in front of us.
Just inform guests about the dirt road.

It was a perfect peaceful weekend. The house has everything and more. There was even a hot tub which we really enjoyed. Perfect getaway from the city. Can't wait to go again.
We enjoyed our stay, the farm is quiet and well situated, many activities around.
Mysthill Farm was a very nice place to stay. Mark was very helpful and friendly. I would just like to make a recommendation regarding the bathrooms. I think it would provide more privacy if a door could be installed in front of each bathroom and I would also like to see a better finish in the bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable and we could rest very well.
