24 guests' feedbackWe loved our stay at the stone cottage. The house and kitchen were equipped with everything we needed. Beds and linens were comfortable. The stoep became our favourite spot to enjoy sundowners and watch the birds and tortoises in the garden. Our host was accommodating and arranged a cleaning service as we had an extended stay.
Very nice stay. Slept well. Drank nice wine. Nice fish and chips. Nice watching whales and walking along the sea.
We as friends had a great time together. Linda was very hospitable and we were very warmly welcomed. The place has so many extras and even though the weather wasn't the best, we were still able to keep busy.
The stay was perfect. Quick walk to the sea and a beautiful view. Definitely one for the books.

We loved our stay. It has a nostalgic ambience. The view from the veranda is beautiful. The area is peaceful and serene. We were fortunate to see whales from the 'stoep'. Spacious home. Books, games, all you need.
Very nice porch where you can sit for hours and look out over the sea and everything that swims by. Birds, turtles etc. can be viewed in the garden. It is close to Gansbaai and Stanford, and if you really want, Hermanus. It is nice and quiet in the evenings and during the day. There is only a slight mouse infestation which probably comes from the fynbos. If the sliding doors are open on the porch, they run into the house. We saw about 4 in the afternoon and another 2 in the morning that we were able to stop.
Lovely seaside cottage, very neat and clean. Great views out to sea saw loads of whales and bird life in the garden great to watch as well.

Very peaceful environment and beautiful view of the sea. Small garden true to environment. Birds like to come and eat in the little garden. Everything you could possibly need is available in the cottage. Books and even board games etc. Not super luxurious, but very comfortable and clean and tidy. Only undercover parking on street side, but street not busy quite safe.
The whales could be viewed from the front porch with the binoculars that are in the house for convenience - an absolute bonus. Walk along the sea and in the nature reserve within walking distance from the house. Unfortunately, the place has a serious damp and consequent "mold" problem which can adversely affect persons with sensitive airways, and this will need to be urgently addressed.
I will feel a piece of Heaven highly recommended just rested after 3 days. Elmarie, the agent is a star.

Die huisie het die mooiste see-uitsig en is skoon. Die huisie het alles wat mens benodig om lekker te rus. Sal definitief weer kom. Baie dankie dat ons so 'n lekker naweek kon gehad het. TV is ook lekker groot en kon die rugby en see op die selfde tyd geniet.
Beautiful sea view from porch, braai area and front room. Rooms are spacious. Close for walking all along the cliffs. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood. House well equipped with everything you need. Had a nice stay and the dog enjoyed it too.
We really enjoyed our stay at a Piece of Heaven. The views are breathtaking and the garden is beautiful (Our dogs especially enjoyed the garden). The cottage is spacious and offers everything for the traveller. It is also close to sea paths for walking and Walker Bay Nature Reserve for swimming. Thank you very much!
Location is very good. View is very very beautiful. Rooms are large, each with its own bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped. Gas bottle with plate and emergency lights for load shedding was a rescue. Full DStv was nice during rain. Wall around the property was a plus for the dogs.
Piece of Heaven is well equipped with everything you need. The area is very quiet and we were able to relax wonderfully with the most lovely view. Lovely weekend spent there with family and our two Yorkies who they also accommodated. Thank you Linda!

Firstly, we were thrilled to be able to take our dogs. We all enjoyed wonderful walks along an unspoiled, magnificent coastline. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The house is simple and dated, but clean, comfortable, and well equipped. A lot of very interesting books and magazines as well as games. Sit on the stoep, braai, enjoy the magnificent view and the birds, in the delightful fynbos garden.
