Wow, we had a wonderful stay at Nabana Lodge. They welcomed us with a smile and their food was delicious. I wouldn't mind going again and again.
Struggled a bit with basic stuff like where the PW for the internet was located.
Upon our arrival we were warmly welcomed and we immediately felt at home. After our first night we were informed that they were going to install aircons (what a bonus that was) they did our room first so it would be ready when we got back from ziplining. The aircon had been installed when we came back as booked and for that we were very grateful. The restaurant on site was a bonus. The food was excellent and the service from the waiters even better. Thank you Nabana lodge for a very nice stay and all your effort with the picnic you arranged for us. We couldn't have asked for better.
The breakfast was wow! Thanks to the chef and extra credit goes to the bar man and the receptionist.
Had easy access to the unit. Beautiful location and view. Restaurant on site open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Convenient and pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Nabana Lodge. The people there are really friendly, welcoming and helping. The garden is beautiful, the room really nice, clean and comfortable. Besides the food in the restaurant is really delicious. Nabana Lodge is also really close to the Kruger and the Panorama Route. Definitely worth a stay!
Plek's rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Reception stinks of smoke and food. Not at three-star level at all. Not value for money at all. Braai facilities poor. No fridge in rooms. No air conditioners. Owner did not look into previous complaints because the same problems are still occurring.
Excellent for me, because my dogs were welcome. This counts a lot for me because South Africa is generally a very anti-pet destination. I know because I travel a lot all over the country.
The accommodation was good and very tidy and the food was very good, I thought that the accommodation costs did include breakfast in the price but it was not and I paid for it separately and accommodation for two nights was R1900.00 for two, quite high compared to other accommodation. I did ask for flowers upon arrival in the room for my wife but the lady apologized because she forgot, but at least it's not a big problem, just wanted to make something extra special for wife. In general, the place looks good and the people are friendly and you feel at home.
Everything was great. Air-conditioner would have been nice as it was really hot and when you leave the windows open the bugs come in. The beds and mattresses were somewhat uncomfortable with the result that we weren't well rested for our daily excursions (and this is a place where one is out all day for sightseeing). Other than that this was the best vacation I've had thus far.
Owners friendly and helpful. Rooms very comfortable with nice views. It's a pity there are no fridges in the units.
The cottage is shared with an interior door that lets in the sound of the people next door which is inconvenient. This is not told ahead of time. The bathroom cabinet needs upgrading. Wash cold inside. Small fridge is recommended. The restaurant's food is good. Reception was friendly.
Magda received us very generously and kindly. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The restaurant serves a particularly large breakfast. Tip: a small fridge in the rooms would be welcome especially in hot weather. A table on the porch will also make things even more convenient.
They could really do more to improve the streetscape. However, the rooms are very neat and the food was reasonable. Very neat rooms and friendly staff.
We will visit Nabana again anytime. It was very peaceful and we immediately felt at home.
Food was divine and personal service excellent
We don't see it as a three star lodge.
