30 guests' feedbackLovely house to visit, well equipped and the owner is fantastic.
Was really very nice and beautiful lodge with everything one's heart desires. Would recommend for a getaway in the woods. We were just unlucky not to see the elephants. Gotta go again!
Beautiful place, which is fully equipped. The host was in contact with us all the time for arrangements and information. Fantastic service.
Perfectly located, quiet and tranquil. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Very neat. As in the photos. Had a wonderful time. Would recommend it for sure. The children and all of us enjoyed it immensely. Will definitely go again. Our family from Australia enjoyed it immensely.
We had such a good time that we booked another night. The first night around the boma, the elephants visited the water hole right in front of the house and even drank water from the pool. It was an unforgettable experience. Goats and warthogs were also constantly seen at the waterhole. The children enjoyed it immensely. You feel part of nature. The location is also ideal. It is close to the main entrance and other amenities. The place is very nice and well furnished.
Amazing place, I'm hoping for a longer stay the next time.
Ideally located for game drives. No game drive vehicle. Water hole right in front of the house where even the elephants came to drink! Sufficient and beautiful cutlery and serving plates. Please invest in a new set of steak knives. There are Magneto lights but bring lights for use during loadshedding - no generator.
We had an amazing time in this house. The weekend was hopelessly too short. The owner and also the employees at Nageng Lodge Mabalingwe were very helpful. The rooms are spacious and the air conditioning makes the terrible heat of the forest manageable. The house is equipped with everything you need and more. We will definitely go again.
Most beautiful house and so practical. Everything was wonderful and very nice for a visit and weekend getaway.
The house is beautifully set up, right in the bush with not another property in sight. The entertainment includes a sheltered boma area and a fair sized pool. The house has four generously sized bedrooms (one is slightly smaller though, but is still comfortable fit) and a loft room with two single beds and one double bed. The unit is located very close to the main gate, so very easy to find.
We had a family reunion. Last saw my sister and her family 8 years ago when they immigrated to England. Their children's first time in the forest and Naneng made for many beautiful memories. The animals come so close to home. The waterhole is visited in the early morning and late afternoon by giraffes, all kinds of goats, warthogs, birds and elephants. It's very quiet and you can really stretch out. The fires in the boma and inside the house in the fireplace made the winter evenings pleasant and we had so much fun hanging out and cooking in the beautifully equipped kitchen. Played cards, board games and chatted late into the night. The house is fully equipped, with even facilities for load shedding, such as lamps and a gas stove for making coffee. The rooms were comfortable and the beds comfortable. Nothing we would change. Would highly recommend Naneng, a home away from home!
We came as family, no kids. The place is amazing and worth every cent. We love nature and we enjoyed nature at its best. We were looking for some peace and quiet, bonding session, we got all that. If anyone hasn't been to Nageng, unfortunately they haven't been to the best.
Nice place and very neat.
We spent a very nice weekend at Nageng. Great house, very tidy and contains everything you need. Would love to come back.
Nageng Lodge is truly a beautiful place. Each room is spacious, and perfect for a large group of people. The children really enjoyed the pool and animals. I will definitely book and recommend Nageng Lodge again.
The weekend was wonderful. Owners have prepared very nicely for us. Lodge is beautiful and we had game on our doorstep every day so that was a plus.
Everything is as on the web page. Well maintained, clean, friendly staff. Kobus was extremely helpful with everything and always reachable. Definitely a place to recommend.
We visit Mabalingwe every year, but we can't get enough of it. It is worth every cent.
Very nice spacious house, perfect for family. The only comment is that the porch's roof leaked with the heavy rain, but it didn't spoil the holiday. The house is modern and perfect for large groups. The owner communicated well with us. We even saw the elephants right by our porch.
Great time with a large group of family and friends. Enough seating and space for everyone. Plekkie unfortunately did not have steak knives, and additional towel hooks in the bathrooms would be convenient. Other than that our stay was excellent and the service couldn't be better.
Nageng offers you everything & more! The house is very neat & clean. The house is adequately equipped with very nice plates, serving plates, glasses & cutlery. The rooms are wonderfully spacious. The place looks exactly like the pictures! We had a great time relaxing & enjoying nature a lot!
Animals can come close to the house at the water hole. Very nice place to visit inside and outside. Each luxury room has its own bathroom. Home has everything you need, even the things you usually forget at home. One can, if the weather is very bad, barbecue inside the house. Children have their "own place" in the upper room. Will definitely recommend.
The house itself was gorgeous with more than enough space for everyone. The only complaint was that certain surfaces in the house had not been wiped down and cleaned thoroughly before arrival or during the stay (e.g. bedside tables and headboards were very dusty and so were the inside of the bedroom cupboards and shelves).
The house is perfect and meets everyone's needs!
House with expensive finishes, furniture and equipment! A woman's dream in the woods! Many animals seen at the watering hole in front of the house and children frolicking in the splash pool.
Great, friendly service from start to finish. The house is fantastic and has everything you could need for a weekend break, location is perfect and you feel like you are far away from home without the travel time. Only downside was the water pressure that couldn't cope with the multiple people. Would still go back in a heart beat. Wonderful place for a weekend away with a group of friends
We were 5 families, all with small children. Had no problems and really enjoyed the stay. Although it is located quite close to the gate, we didn't feel for one moment that we were missing anything from Mabalingwe! The goats and warthogs often stopped by and came right up to the children. Will definitely come again!
Very stylish house and enjoy being so peaceful and lovely to be so close to the game that comes to drink from the waterhole. The pool was great and water was lovely.
