The campsite offers 6 campsites on a lawn, each with their own braai facilities, ablution block with hot and cold running water, and power points. Campers are more than welcome to use the facilities at the lodge, located 500 m away.
The lodge’s impressive central entrance, designed in true African style with a wooden chandelier and carved animals, leads guests into the lodge, set between the trees. The dining room features a high thatched roof, and is open on the sides to the river. Campers are also welcome to use the swimming pool at the lodge.
Visit the local traditional villages to experience basket weaving and beautiful wood carvings. For an additional charge, the lodge also offers boat trips on the Kwando River, and game drives by crossing the river by boat into the Bwabwata National Park, and exploring the area on custom-built 4x4 vehicles. One has the possibility to see elephant, buffalo, giraffe, and zebra to name a few. Fishing trips are available, as well as guided and non-guided hiking trails. Stargazing is also available on request. Mudumu National Park is situated 40.7 km from the lodge, and is accessible with ones own 4x4 vehicle on a self-drive basis.
