The lodge consists of 5 en-suite bedrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, and open onto a furnished pergola. Two of the rooms are furnished with king-size beds, and 3 rooms each have 2 single beds. For convenience, all linen and towels are provided. Four of the rooms are air-conditioned, while the fifth has a ceiling fan.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped for self-catering and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table. The unit also has a scullery, a pantry, as well as a laundry room with a washing machine and a tumble-dryer. Guests can relax in the lounge which is equipped with a TV with full DStv, or on the furnished viewing deck.
The living area opens onto a patio with a built-in braai area, and overlooks the swimming pool. The lodge also has boma that guests can use, and undercover parking for 3 vehicles are available for use. Cleaning services are available Mondays to Fridays and half days on Saturdays; except on public holidays. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

Second stay here. Well-equipped house with 5 bedrooms en suite. Great for inviting family and friends.
Clean and well-kept, comfortable and enjoyable stay. Offered beautiful views and natural surroundings. What a serene and tranquil environment. Was able to unwind and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Our cleaner on the weekend was such a lovely lady and hardworking by the name of Ivy, very friendly and knowledgeable about the place.
The reserve is a pleasure to visit. It is evident that a lot of effort has gone into creating a safe. clean, well-functioning reserve. Top class.
This was our second stay at Ngalas Rest 101. Everything was very clean, organised, and of high quality. It is the perfect lodge for a larger group of people.
Wonderful walks around the braai knowing that the big 5 can walk past a few meters from you at any moment (a big elephant bull also did this while we were braaiing). Nice large living areas in the house, on the upper floor and on the porch, while the private rooms give you the opportunity to break away from the other people if you wanted to.
If you want to relax and build good relationships, this is the place to go.
It was lovely to work with Eric (from Ngalas) who was so helpful. The lodge is great for a large group and Mjejane is also a great place.
Eric goes out of his way to make the stay perfect. Ivy, the lady who services the lodge, is excellent. All in all a lovely, peaceful stay.
Eric had been very hospitable. We had a great time and the house is so beautiful and tidy. We will definitely go again.
Tastefully furnished house, with all facilities that you need away from home. Comfortably accommodated 4 adults and 4 teenagers. Staff ensure place is kept clean and tidy. Lovely to see elephant, warthog, rhino, giraffe, in your backyard. WiFi and water pressure in showers could be better. Loadshedding was irritating, but that won't deter us from wanting to go back there. Eric was always easily on hand to advise and help out. A truly wonderful gem in Mjejane.
Very nice place to stay. All amenities are there. Eric is an outstanding host and very helpful. Will definitely visit again.
Every part of our stay was fantastic. We really rested and relaxed. Saw beautiful animals on our game drive (Big 5 in 2 hours) and just saw the animals from our porch. Everything was clean, tidy and above expectations. We were very satisfied.

Nicely located, spacious house with bedrooms away from the living area. Layout and finish are very practical and child friendly
