190 guests' feedbackThe place is peaceful, private and quiet. The boma was delicious.
It was clean and had hot water in the morning and evening to shower (big plus). Beautiful view from the Punda Unit, very private and had all we needed for a great stay. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Will definitely go back and recommend for a quick break away from the city.
We enjoyed every moment. Very nice and neat. Definitely value for money.
You feel part of the forest. It's peaceful and quiet.
We had a great stay at Ngiri Safaris. The chalet was very neat and nice to live in.
Please work on the entering of the two gates; a password should be provided or a guard needs to be there. We waited for so long for the gates to be opened and your phones just ring unanswered.
See stars.
Quiet, nice break from the city noise. Will definitely book Nigiri again in the future, that's a definite.
I had a lovely relaxing weekend away from the city! The accommodation was neat and clean. One of the highlights was waking up to the beautiful sunrise, sipping coffee, watching the impala take in the first morning light just metres away.
We had a very nice stay. Everything is nice and clean and was ready. I am very satisfied with our weekend we spent there. It is safe and the people who work there are very friendly and made us feel so welcome.
We had such an amazing time in a beautiful location and our host was exceptional!
The Punda Chalet is delightfully private with a beautiful view of Ngiri's boundary line. The fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and crisp towels & linen and finer attention to detail rounded off our stay nicely. We will definitely visit Ngiri again.
Amazing bell wishes, see you soon.
Our stay was really relaxing. It's very quiet and peaceful. The host was very accommodating and super friendly as well as the gentleman who came to start the fire twice daily.
We had an absolutely lovely stay at Ngiri Safaris. The location is very convenient, being close to Dinokeng Mall as well as different restaurants and the main gate. The staff is very helpful and kind. We definitely look forward to our next visit.
Very neat and tidy, well decorated, quiet, ideal for a perfect weekend getaway. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
Ngiri Safaris is the perfect getaway for you and your better half. It is private and comfortably quiet, we will definitely plan a visit to Ngiri again. It was definitely worth the dirt road!
Very nice and peaceful. Room was well equipped. Lovely setting.
The accommodation is beautiful, tidy and very peaceful. It's easy to get there and communication is good. When a massive storm broke out and the tent got a little wet, the hospitality of the host showed very well.
Was absolutely amazing, peaceful and tranquil. Definitely recommend the morning game drive.
Everything you need is provided and we really enjoyed the silence and forest experience.
We had a great stay, thank you.
The only negative is the donkey that provides hot water. The smoke from the donkey bothers me quite a bit. We struggled with noses that were closed due to the smoke.
Extremely peaceful. It's a quick escape away from all the busyness of everyday life and not too far away drive from Gauteng/North West.
We had a lovely time.
It was awesome and we were there to relax and clear our minds. Because it is winter, it was so cold in the chalet, but we had a heater and everything was perfect.
We were welcomed very kindly! The chalet is nice and clean and has basically everything you need for a weekend stay. Unfortunately, the unit we stayed in, Ngiri, had a king size bed that was not up to standard. These are 2 single beds that have been pushed against each other, and the mattress of one bed (left) is unfortunately yellowed and tattered. Really unpleasant to sleep on. The duvet is also too small for the size of the bed. We had a nice time next to the boma. Maybe just look at a little more comfortable chairs at the patio table. Otherwise it was also wonderfully quiet and we enjoyed it a lot. Would recommend Ngiri.
Had a great time, just want to know when the break fee will be paid.
We enjoyed our weekend at Ngiri Safaris, very peaceful and relaxing.
The place is very beautiful and nice and private. All that was very disappointing is that we could not do the archery. Asked twice and it was just too much trouble to put it up for us. We couldn't play pool either, but the sticks weren't quite and the balls were wet and had to drive out for the day for entertainment, which we wanted to do only on the spot.
Our stay was relaxing, the experience was amazing.
Ngiri Safaris is located conveniently close to the entrance gate of the specific section of the reserve. Staff are friendly and assist where requested. The chalet is well maintained.
Few things that were disappointing. Overall the stay was very relaxing for a quick getaway.
For price, location, "self-catering" and purposes, it was adequate and quite peaceful. Very nice stay. Place needs some work/upgrading, but it's not that it causes discomfort. Wood porch deck needs to be checked, lots of cracks. My husband stepped through rotten wood, but fortunately was not hurt.
The place is clean and very nice. The staff is very friendly and happy to help with any request.
What an incredible experience. Very friendly staff who are always willing to help. The place is clean and tidy. The view is amazing, especially when the sun starts to set.
It was relaxing in the bush, with your own privacy.
Yes, very calm, thank you.
The customer service was poor. They even didn't know that we would arrive on the day of arrival and were confused.
Stay was ok, hot water a problem especially in the mornings, donkey lit a fire in the morning but didn't check if it was burning well and died as a result of cold water. Maintenance not too good on accommodation, shower head is very good.
It was nice, just didn't expect all the extra charges.
Clean and neat with all the amenities that are required for a quiet getaway. No WiFi though, which I needed a few times, but that was because of my needs, not because I can't live without being connected to the world. Otherwise a lovely stay. A big thank you to the gentleman that lit our donkey fire twice daily, always friendly. The sand road getting to their gate is horrendous, with terrible corrugations, but nothing that the lodge can do about that, they rely on the authorities to maintain it.
The property gate was unfortunately on manual due to lightning from the storm the night before. We were promised that this was being resolved, but it never got attended to. The bottom main gate was also faulty, and we often had to divert our path to avoid it in order to get out into the reserve. The remote provided did not work. The stove within the unit had faulty knobs, and the fridge didn't work; the freezer worked, but not the fridge. The images shown on the website indicated a portable aircon, however, there was only a fan in the room which we left on throughout the night to keep cool. The pool was also not working due to the same lightning issue from the night before. The shower had poor pressure and was only usable with gas.
Very nice and private, bed very comfortable, perfect size fridge, hot water and water pressure all good. Only 2 negative points were the dirt road was way too busy until late at night. And the fan in the room didn't mean anything. We enjoyed our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our rustic stay in the bush and the peaceful nights. The chalet, though simple, was comfortable and had everything we needed. However, we would like to bring the following issues to your attention, especially considering the R500 refundable breakage deposit required per unit in cash. The bed linen appeared quite tired, and the shower and toilet mats were worn and well past their prime. The toaster was not functioning, and the frying pan had a loose handle. The double bunk bed was unstable and essentially unusable, which could pose a safety risk. Fortunately, we did not have our grandchildren with us on this trip.
On Friday night there was no water at the shower. We reported and on Saturday morning they fixed it, but then there was still no water at the sink taps. On Saturday afternoon, the water supply pipe burst and was quickly fixed. On Sunday morning, the pipe burst again, as did the "donkey". The 2-plate stove was leaking gas, which we also reported. I suggest that before guests are checked in, the unit is thoroughly inspected to make sure everything is in order. It seems that the leaks in the pipe have been like this for some time, as the ground has wet spots.
Ngiri Safaris is the perfect place for a nice weekend getaway. The chalet is perfectly equipped with everything you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful too. I would definitely recommend Ngiri Safaris.
Rooms very nice and clean, nice pool, the owner is very pleasant and friendly. 10/10.
From start to finish, great.
Anja was very helpful and friendly.
From booking to checking out, and everything in between, Ngiri Safaris made everything a pleasure. Anja was incredibly friendly and welcoming and her knowledge and passion on game drives shone through.
Relax together as a family.
Tatum and all the staff were very friendly and very accommodating. Loved the setup and really enjoyed our stay at Ngiri.
Donkey times adjusted to accommodate your schedule.
Dinokeng game reserve value for money with plentiful of accomodation.
Management went out of their way to make an unforgettable weekend possible. A lot of effort was put into making up a room for two lovers who got engaged.
What an excellent place to visit. Would recommend the place 110%.
From the morning of check in was painless. Tatum tweeted early that our unit is fine and we can check in earlier. The game drive was amazing! The unit was super neat and well furnished. Tatum has frequently tweeted about "sightings" for self-drive. We will definitely visit Ngiri again. 100 times recommended!
On arrival, very friendly reception. The cottage very tidy, would perhaps recommend roof fans, but otherwise no fault. It was very pleasant and peaceful.
A lovely spot in Dinokeng! Spacious, clean, comfortable and private from the rest of the chalets. Tatum was a great host!
We loved our stay at Ngiri Safaris. Great way to escape the city and get in touch with nature. Such a special place, with friendly staff and such value for money.
We had a lovely stay at Ngiri Safari. Everything was as advertised and the communication from the lodge before, during, and after our stay was excellent. Fantastic sightings on the game drive. Definitely worth repeating!
My welcome from the get-go from Tatum was friendly and very professional. Chalets are nicely appointed, clean and tidy.
We had a peaceful weekend except for the load shedding, our sleeping place was safe, clean and very comfortable! Tatum welcomed us with a big smile and was helpful with all the questions and directions. I would definitely recommend Ngiri Safaris for quality time with a loved one/girlfriend.
We had a wonderful, peaceful, and great stay at Ngiri Safaris. The chalet, Ndongo, is beautifully furnished and elegantly styled.
Ngiri Safaris is not only a very neat accommodation in the Bosveld, it is a piece of jewel on earth. Our stay was fantastic and the hospitality was excellent! Will recommend the place again and again to people who fancy a nice break not far from Pretoria.
The lodge is in a good location to enjoy a quiet atmosphere. Chivan, our game drive guide, is good at what he does and made us feel relaxed.
The unit and grounds were very clean, staff was very helpful.
Neat, clean, beautiful place. Incredibly nice stay. Service was friendly and helpful, will definitely visit again!
My husband and I really enjoyed our time here. The ablution facilities were perfect. We could prepare delicious meals for ourselves in the kitchen. The shower and toilets were neat and clean. The environment around our tent was pretty neat and clean, and we slept so well. The most wonderful break we have experienced in a very long time. Would really like to do it again. Many thanks for the friendly service of the lodge staff. It was perfect.
Very calm and quiet. Real woodland feel.
It was truly a positive experience to be able to live close to wildlife just around the corner from Pretoria. Friendly people and our guide went out of his way to make an effort for us.
Everything was nice, except that the workers came on the last morning to ask for money or a tip, although every morning we started the donkey ourselves. The guide was very good and friendly.
Perfect place to re-centre yourself. No technological disturbances and just quiet. The most amazing wake-up in the mornings. The donkey system is used and adjusted to your schedule. If loadshedding bothers you bring some backup but light is provided and is more than sufficient. Boma area is amazing to sit by under the stars which shine so much brighter out there. The cabins are cosy and absolutely beautiful. The staff and owners are so friendly! Will definitely be returning!
It was incredibly beautiful there. The housing was neat and big. It would have been great if they had someone to come clean. But other than that it was lovely there.
Very nice for comfortable breaks and private time with loved ones. Can definitely be recommended.
It is reassuring to know that there is a route to make a complaint, and action will be taken should there be something that was out of comfort or rules.
All disadvantage of the accommodation is that there is a donkey and they only put it on 2 times a day for hot water. Unfortunately, they also turn it on when you go on the game drive so when you come back there is no hot water. Our first morning we didn't have hot water, but the second morning we did. Apart from that we had a nice stay and the people are very helpful.
Good isolation spot with partner, and quality time, our stay felt short at the end, very comfortable, if you are a lover of the bush, isolation and tranquillity, then you will be happy.
It was tranquil. Communication was maintained at all times. The unit was clean and cosy.
I enjoyed my stay as I needed to relax from the rush-hour city.
Everything was good, just a pity there was no milk or cream for the coffee. Small oversight. Nothing serious, more swimming pools would help - one for the cottages and one for the chalets. Your next question about unexpected charges on my account? I don't know because I haven't got my "Breakage deposit" back yet so won't know if there are sudden charges. Thank you.
Ngiri Safaris meets all the requirements for a nice weekend getaway from the city's hustle and bustle.
Thank you very much for the good reception we received. The stay was very pleasant and the view from the veranda impressive. We saw several wild animals walking by and were pleasantly surprised. Thanks to Andrew for lighting our donkey and taking care of hot water. Just what we needed a peaceful getaway.
Stay was nice. Would like to see a shower curtain installed between the toilet and shower for privacy. Hand controls in the shower are recommended for safety. There was no inventory of equipment in the unit. There were several flaws in the kitchenware that I relayed to our guide. No feedback has been received to date.
Just damn hot in the units, an air conditioner can come in quite handy, provided there is going to be power. Main road has been covered with corrugated iron and could do with a scrap. Lots to do around accommodation. Curtain rod might just be fixed, fell on me 2 times, luckily without injury.
Unfortunately with loadshedding the windows were closed, no net on the windows, the facilities also far from where one sleeps, one has to drive to go eat, to go swimming.
Very overpriced for the amenities and facilities, I stay at Dinokeng regularly and for the same price could have a better experience. The facilities are just very overpriced, if priced in the correct range would be great for that price range, but does not compare to other facilities in the reserve that charge the same.
Guided game drive was great. Located close to Johannesburg. If you like wildlife viewing then you should go there.
Excellent place for a quick woodland break!
Terrible very nice place is incredibly quiet and very neat safe and no problems, road is very nice and would be able to drive there any day with a car.
The owner Tatum is the best, very friendly and professional, very good service from her. The unit was very clean and tidy and nothing was lacking, everything worked very well. We will visit you again anytime. Very safe accommodation behind game fence. Ngiri is quite centrally located in Dinokeng which makes driving around much easier. Would recommend them anytime.
It was super fun! Exactly what we needed to relax a bit in the woods! Would definitely recommend to anyone!
Love the cabins, they are perfect for a couple's getaway. Nice and cold so you can cuddle up in winter. Always happy with our stay here.
It rained cats and dogs all weekend but we were cozy and warm in our log cabin. We also had the privilege of seeing a whole pack of lions 2 days in a row. Regardless of the rain we could still drive to see wildlife and cook on the gas stove, there was always hot water and also a heater when it was so cold, which made us cozy. The De Wagensdrift road is a bit rough to drive on but that is definitely not the resort's fault. I recommend a long weekend there.
Great rest in the forest.
The staff is friendly and always willing to provide guidance and help. The lodge is so amazing everything one needs is provided as well as the scenery is just amazing. Tents are well equipped with all the necessary items and you are secluded from the other tents which makes the experience even more amazing.
Ngiri staff were so accommodating and did a flawless check-in and tour on our arrival, despite loadshedding and borderline darkness. The communal kitchen area has every imaginable utensil for your use and a gas stove so you can have hot food and drinks even when the power is out. The boma area made for a perfect braai spot for our group to enjoy. The ablutions are well maintained, but there is no door beyond the shower curtain, so if you are getting changed in the bathroom and someone were to walk in, you would be in full view. Perhaps an extra curtain? This was the only small suggestion from our side. Otherwise, a wonderful stay and exceptionally friendly staff.
Nothing more to say, we loved every moment. Thank you.
Ngiri Safaris is well maintained and a nice getaway.
Very tidy and comfortable chalets right in the bush.
We can recommend Ngiri 100%. Very friendly and helpful staff. Campsite was beautiful and was clean and tidy. Same goes for the ablution pads. We had a great weekend and have no complaints about Ngiri itself. We'll see you again! The only thing that bothered was the big wedding on Saturday night opposite Ngiri at another lodge. Music was terribly loud and sounded like a show was being put on until the morning hours. Unfortunately, it took away the atmosphere for which one goes to Bosveld. But as we know, Ngiri as well as the other lodges and Dinokeng have no control over this.
Enjoyable weekend overall. Quiet, peaceful and replacing.
Was a very nice weekend, very well appointed chalet is clean and tidy just need to pay attention to the mattress of the main bed, will definitely use Ngiri Safari Lodge again.
The lions roaring in the background, the smell of the bushveld make the glamor camp a nice weekend getaway.
The people are very friendly and helpful at Ngiri Safari. Our place was very neat and clean. Definitely worth it.
We had a great weekend at Ngiri, bra Solomon was the best host, he made us feel welcom and showed the place and told us where to spot animals, far best is when he came with the horse my partner was scared however he made sure she enjoyed the experience. If you want to visit a game reserve Ngiri safari is your place. 10/10 thank you once again bra Solomon making sure we had hot water and wonderful experience in the bush.
The cabin was very comfortable. Everything you needed was there. Would have loved it if there was a coffee and milk and sugar with a biscuit. The shower is not made for tall people. The environment was so peaceful, only birds where you could hear. It was nice to be able to stay so deep in the forest, away from the hustle and bustle of the city and town.
Ngiri Safaris is a great place to relax. It is clean, tidy and has everything you need for a getaway. Definitely recommend it.
Friendly staff, place is neat and very peaceful. Had no problems was a nice break away from the city life.
The tranquility was wonderful. We will definitely return to Ngiri Safaris and would definitely recommend the accommodation to anyone.
Just what we wanted and a plus was that we could bring the two small dogs with us. They really enjoyed going for a walk. Will definitely come again.
Nice away from the city and noise. Very nice campsite. Clean and tidy. Very good value for money. Helpful management/owners. Will definitely go again.
Chalet is well equipped with friendly and helpful service. opportunity for additional activities is available. Will definitely go again. Thank you Natasha.
The game drive was mind blowing, apart from the rain it was an experience to be able to see a live kill happen. This was our highlight for the weekend.
Pleasant stay, friendly staff.
Very nice to walk and the atmosphere was nice. The man who had to make the fire for the donkey (geyser) did it with wet wood. So we had no hot water.
We enjoyed our stay. Tent was fine. But the area of Dinokeng should not be advertised as a Big 5 area because it is not. Very disappointing, very little game. The braai facilities are not up to scratch. No hot water for our showers on the second night. The lights kept tripping. No stove to cook on even though fully equipped kitchen is advertised.
Ngiri is a very good place for a cheap getaway.
No hospitality, very poor water pressure, no staff to help us with problems. Gas stove has no gas. No activities were offered. Worst service! Would not recommend them at all. No other visitors. Remote controls do not work. No persons at reception. Worst service ever! Breakage fee of R500. No idea when we'll get it back.
We rested very well and spent time together. Only got there after 19h00 and the staff were nothing but helpful and friendly. Thank you very much. Will definitely see you again!
The management and staff were excellent.
Each unit is completely on its own. This means that you can visit in private. The hostess was very helpful in terms of help about the reserve. The donkey's water is nice and warm. We had a bat and a few bugs in the room, but that's to be expected with a unit that is so directly in the field.
For the price paid that is advertised for 3 people, I would have thought you will have 2 separate bedrooms.
Amenities were neat, adequate accommodation, hospitable, very happy and lovely. Thanks, Ngiri Safaris.
No carving board to chop food. No casserole for meat. Owner even dropped phone in my ear when I complained.
As usual it was great to stay there. Very peaceful, yet centrally near everything.
The cabin and chalet which our party stayed in were very comfortable. Ngiri was in the middle of an upgrade, but we were not inconvenienced in the slightest. A very restful time was had by all. Thank you, Sue and Aaron.
We had a wonderful time at Ngiri Safaris. There was plenty to do, just wish we had more time. We didn't see any of the Big 5 but we still had a great game drive and saw lots of impala, zebra, giraffe, warthog, ostrich and wildebeest.
It was a lovely experience, we had never been to Dinokeng before, and it was beautiful. Nice to have a little getaway spot so close to home. They also allowed us to bring our little dog along, which is a massive plus point.
It was a very nice weekend. The house where we stayed is very nice and clean. The customer service was just not very good because it's owner is not available and we struggled with our payment because their machine didn't work and we had to make other arrangements. They keep the place nice and clean. The only other problem is that there is no hot water on demand. You have to light a donkey first and that didn't even work most of the time either.
We were kindly received by Sue's domestic worker. I did not have the right amount of money on me with payment but I got it back with my key deposit. The game drive offered by Sue was insightful and she stopped everytime anyone saw something, even when it was just a little buck we've seen many times before. The game was a bit scarce, not much to see - but it's nobody's fault! We had no problems with Ngiri Safaris. We had a wonderful private time! Thank you very much, Sue. We enjoyed it very much. Will definitely visit again!
Had a great weekend at Ngiri Safaris and ended up adding another night to our stay. The Owner Sue has given a real personalised touch to our stay. We will be back very soon and also tell all our friends about the establishment. Thank you Sue for the amazing weekend. See you soon.
Nice big grounds to go for a walk in the forest. Nice relaxing break in the forest.
Great value, perfect place to recharge in the beautiful surroundings of Dinokeng. Will definitely be back soon.
Very nice, peace an quiet, no one that bothers you, very safe and tranquil. Will definitely go there again, very neat and clean, the hostess was very helpful and friendly.
Friendly, clean, tidy - peaceful forest atmosphere.
We had a wonderful weekend and the people at Ngiri Safaris were very friendly.
The unit has everything that one needs. I suggest that they put air conditioning in the units. The hostess was very helpful and friendly. The game drive is also a must - Sue and her husband took us for an extra 2 hours and tried to find more animals. Generally very nice.
Nice staff, value for money.
It was really unpleasant for us. We went to celebrate my husband's 57th birthday quietly, but 2 days without power, without one apology from the owner. I have photos of the furniture's terrible condition, should you be interested.
Wasted our money and weekend. What is advertised and reality is two different things. Not worth it.
Can't wait to be back.
Neat detached units, great service and absolute silence - best place to break a weekend away from the city!
It was a wonderful relaxing weekend for us.
The best place to relax and get a good rest.
Very friendly and helpful owners. Very private and the workers are conscientious about their job and give you space and time. There is plenty to do near Ngiri too.
Thanks so much to Sue and Andrew from Ngiri Safaris, it was an unfortgetable weekend. Quiet, peaceful, just the sound of animals. The game drive was the highlight on the Saturday night - we witnessed a lion hunt! The adrenalin is still pumping.
See stars. We had such a nice stay. Such friendly hostess, we had everything we need and will go back again. My doggy was welcome to join!
Everything was very clean and the chalets have everything you need for a weekend getaway. Staff very friendly. Enjoyed gathering around the fire at night. Bonus is that the chalets are not close to each other so its nice and private.
Lovely experience. We didn't have to go out of the house to see the animals. A giraffe passed by next to the fence and bucks passed daily. The houses are well equipped, clean and spacious. So glad our dogs could come.
We really enjoyed it, especially the game drives. We sat on the porch and watched the wildlife pass by, kudu, blue wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, monkeys. The roebucks were walking around the camp. It was great that our 2 dog kids could hang out with us.
Only the TV was missing but everything went well.
Very friendly. They went out of their way to help. had a two-year old with us and they went to a lot of trouble.
The chalet was neat and tidy, with everything you need in it. The hosts were awesome. Your neighbours are not close, so you feel that you are totally alone at the resort. Had an awesome weekend, and it felt like I was there for a month.
We were received kindly and the owner was very helpful.
Very nice stay, will be back.
Sue and Andrew made sure we settled in well from the start. Everything you need is there. The game drive was fantastic, we learned so much!
It was great and very relaxing.
Fridge was broken. Accommodation can feel free to look at a "geyser", the "donkey" makes everything smell like smoke. Cute accommodation for older couples, but absolutely nothing for families with younger children to do at Ngiri.
Very relaxing. We were taken on a 3 hour game drive by Andrew, but missed the lions unfortunately.
The most negative thing and the reason why I won't recommend it, is the closeness of the road that goes through the area, and the noise of traffic that comes with it. We also heard the neighbours' music until late the Saturday night, which is very disturbing for a bush-accommodation. It wasn't at Ngiri but at one of the neigbours close by.
Chalets are neat and clean, and far apart. But there is no door / partition / curtain to the bathroom, and the wall between the living area and bathroom does not go up to the roof. So no privacy when you go to the bathroom, and all sounds and smells are shared with the whole family. Gas stove, but no matches. Floors are soapy, and all the mats (especially the bathroom) have no rubber on the bottom. Mattresses are cooked, very uncomfortable. Sofa in living area very unstable, can't sit on it. The clubhouse by the pool has a nice kitchen with cutlery and plates, but no dish towel or washcloth in sight to clean up where one spills. Open trash that is regularly 'rabbled' by the owners' pet mouse dogs. Pool table's top is torn to shreds, not usable. Owners have 2 tame mouse dogs (which they rescued as babies), very cute, but very troublesome. The mouse dogs bite and scratch people, get into the food bags, are all over people all the time. Safari trips: The afternoon trip left at 16:15, and we didn't come back until after 8 pm. Too long, and the last 45 minutes were rushed and awkward. Came back too late to grill, so the evening was over.
Small houses and very comfortable. Will definitely be back.
What a wonderful weekend! Dwayne (the guide) welcomed us warmly and was at hand in a jiffy when we needed something! Neat, safe, peaceful, fantastic place with the Big 5 and many activities! Peaceful nature made it difficult to head home! Definitely recommended.
We spent a lovely time in Nigiri. Nice to see the wildlife. Will recommend it to others too.
Lovely bushveld getaway. The right medicine for someone who just wants to rest. Do go on your own game drive through the reserve.
The accommodation was really neat and clean. Everything was well maintained and in its place. Staff very friendly and happy to help even though we were the only guests for the day or so that we stayed there. Will definitely go again.
A very relaxing and quiet place for city dwellers. Keep it up.
The one bed's linen was not clean, and the mattresses were worn out. The shower was leaking all over the place. The toaster didn't work and the kitchen towels were dirty. The exterior light had a short circuit. There was a plague of flies. The pool has seen better days. No repairs are done at all.
There was no time to drive through Dinokeng. The dirt roads to Ngiri are very poor. The log cabin is very warm. Reception was friendly. They could have just warned us in advance about the breakage deposit that was due. The environment is very beautiful and the wildlife is tame.
The 4 km dirt road before the Ngiri exit is just very bad, and not made for a low car. The place and accommodation itself was very nice and me and grandma enjoyed it a lot. The Chalets are well located and very private and it is very peaceful. We rested well and were able to 'charge our batteries properly'. The game drive was also a very nice experience.
I would recommend that their activities are not that expensive and that not everything has to be paid for extra.
Everything was good. From the cleanliness to the house itself, everything was amazing. Thanks a lot!
We really had a great time. The place is convenient and close to shops and filling station and service was good. The only thing you could improve on is cleaning the swimming pool. it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. But other than that I was quite happy.
It was a pleasure to just arrive there and be welcomed and be able to unpack... and to know that everything was already arranged by LekkeSlaap. The place is very nice, but there is little to do without having to pay extra for it. People who go without children to keep them busy might take a game or a deck of playing cards with them. But for those who want to rest, this is the right place!
Very down to earth, nice quiet spot. It had everything you need. Just bring nice food and a book. Go on a game drive and explore. Nice dinner areas at Dinokeng, a spa and a supermarket. Great weekend away!
I had a nice stay there, very calming.
Although the drought hindered the natural beauty, we still got to see wildlife. Very quiet and private for those who really want to get away for a moment of silence. Well located and not too far from home if you live in Pretoria. Hope Ngiri gets a lot of good rain soon which I believe will transform the area into a beauty of nature.
The wooden cabins are very warm. It would be nice to have air cooling.
I would suggest a type of bathroom door, even a swing-door ... especially if you are sharing accommodation. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.
I love nature and that's what Ngiri Safaris has offered me. The peaceful and relaxed environment where I could wake up to hear the melodies of birds and nature around me. Me and my fiance had a great time and we hope to go back soon.
Lovely and very rustic, also there was no excessive outside lighting. It was a wonderful, real bushveld experience.
It was a quiet and relaxing stay for my husband and myself. Especially because we travelled from quite a ways away, in order to relax without hearing the sounds of the city. It is very secure and lovely to watch the animals walk past with absolute freedom. I recommend it to anyone, for family stays or even just a romantic stay with your partner.
Thank you to our hosts who made us feel very welcome. I know it is a SAFARI but perhaps a mirror close to a plu would help us ladies to "do our thing" a little easier. Lamps did not work and it was VERY dark at night. Other than that, a lovely experience!
