36 guests' feedbackWhat a wonderful place! We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and attention to detail. Would like to suggest that you take 2-point plugs with you for phones etc. to charge. We booked at the last minute, just like that in line, made us feel so welcome late at night, after a long day's travel. The safety of our vehicle was quite a concern because we would turn into Middelbrug in the dark, but we were worried for nothing! Vehicles are behind high walls, and no one can look in from the outside. The place is top! We will definitely spend the night at Nguni again if our route passes there again.
Room 11 was large and comfortable. Unfortunately the air conditioning and the WiFi didn't work too well. Apart from that, we slept very well and everything we needed was there. We were also received kindly and our vehicle was safely parked within high walls.
Really a lovely place to stay. It was truly a special guest house experience after a long drive that will stay with me.

We stayed there with our animals. Good place to stay with animals. Janina welcomed the animals and that alone makes one feel more at ease. The place itself is well located, everything you want is there. Secure parking. She is happy to help with anything you are looking for, where to get food and even surprised us with breakfast. Arrangements beforehand were clear and professional. We traveled with a dog and it was no problem to arrange it in advance. Janine also arranged a delicious dinner for us. The self-catering unit was very neat and comfortable and parking was safe.

The trucks that came down the main street from 4 o'clock in the morning were quite disturbing.

We were on our way back to Pretoria from the Cape, very clean and tidy accommodation. We will definitely book with you again.

It was very noisy as trucks came down the main road. We could not sleep. The guest house is situated on the main road, otherwise no complaints.

Good hospitality and friendly reception. Not the best location with the roadworks in Middelburg because trucks have to drive through the town. Near the busy road, one cannot have a good night's rest after a long journey. Such a cute little place with so much potential.
I booked Room 1 early as it had a bath. Our reservation was confirmed and the accommodation paid. On our arrival the room was occupied by a lady who seemed to have booked accommodation long after we did. The owner was not present and we were first offered a very inferior room. This was not acceptable and we were subsequently offered a larger room which we had to accept. Although the owner has no control over it I feel that prospective guests should be informed of the current road noise.

Exquisite, cool room, impeccably clean. Friendly and excellent service. Delicious dinner and the omelettes for breakfast were fantastic!
The breakfast the next morning was also great. The veranda around the accommodation is a big plus because you can sit in the cool and relax with cold refreshments and just relax. Thank you also for housing our dogs, it helps if they are also welcome.
The most user friendly web page ever. From the "search" to the payment. Received feedback via email within a few minutes, about one minute to pay and immediate confirmation. Texts on the way there as well as friendly phone calls to hear how we are progressing. The whole experience was just a pleasure. If one gets more such service, everything can be so much easier and we can live less stressfully. Many thanks to everyone!
Great hospitality and generous reception. Excellent service and food and you feel at home the whole time. Just a shame it's right next to the main traffic through town and the traffic is noisy but we had a nice rest. They can give out free earplugs and then everything is 100%.
