We really enjoyed this cottage. One of the best.
The cottage we stayed in was clean, comfortable and very well equipped (i.e. with kitchen utensils, a gas bottle/plate for load shedding, a braai-stand, firelighters, and some wood for braai, spare blankets, etc.). The host was very friendly, accommodating and responsive to our requests. And the unit is located in a lovely peaceful garden environment.
Easy to access from the main road, spacious and central to all the hiking trails.
Hogsback is a beautiful settlement in the Amatola Mountains. Beautiful forests nice walking trails everything you need to switch off. You can basically find everything in the shops in town. Our stay was beautiful and well equipped. Lovely fireplace in the house for the cold nights. It is very important that you can drink the tap water. Thanks to the owners for an amazing stay.

The chalet was not serviced, and we were there for 5 days/4 nights. We did not see anyone from the main house at all during our stay, except when we arrived. On arrival, we were told about the 30 establishments being sold in tiny Hogsback. Not heartwarming news.
A beautiful place to get away from hustle of life. Would love to go back when snowing, looks like it could be fantastic.

Graham and Michelle were very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. The unit was very clean and tidy and looks exactly as advertised on the website. It's very quiet there and the location excellent. We will definitely stay at Nibelheim again.

Graham and Michele are the perfect hosts! Nibelheim was far more than we could have ever hoped for! The fireplace burned every night, the Samango monkeys entertained us, the views and the comfort of the house were everything we expected and more! The scenery so beautiful and, remember, it was winter! In summer and spring everything blooms, so get ready!
Tranquility and natural beauty in which one can forget all stress. Good service, comfortable stay with everything you need.
