The 2 units are operated separately and are not jointly rented to the same group of guests.
Both non-smoking units have kitchens that are well-equipped for self-catering. The house has a self-catering kitchen, a separate sitting and dining room, 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets.
The studio apartment has an open-plan sleeping area, dining area and lounge area and a separate kitchenette and bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. All the necessary facilities except a washing machine and a dishwasher are provided.
Unlimited WiFi, a DStv premium package and beach towels are provided for both units.
Guests have private access to the two units with separate outside relaxation areas and braai facilities. There is secure parking on site for paid guests.
The 3-bedroom house has a limited sea view from the living room. Both units are only 60 m from the beach.

78 guests' feedbackNick was warm and welcoming even though we arrived in the cold and rain at 10pm. He clearly explained everything we needed to know. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the big warm blanket and extra towels supplied.
The six nights at Nick's Seaside Rest were peaceful and the house is spacious and has everything that may be needed for self-catering. The owners are friendly and helpful and give guests their privacy. We would heartily recommend this accommodation to any prospective guests!

Fantastic! From arrival to departure treated like friends with excellent service! The lower apartment is more than suitable for two people with a nice lounge, TV, WiFi and a quiet braai area that is cleaned after use. The beach is really only 60m!

Our stay was amazing! The unit was very close to the beach, restaurants and shops. We could hear the waves breaking while we were at the unit and it took less than a minute to walk down to the ocean. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going over and beyond to make our stay even better. Would definitely go back!

Beautiful scenery and perfectly situated place.

The apartment is neat and clean. What is needed for a self-catering holiday is in the apartment. With a few steps we were at the sea. The environment is peaceful and quiet and the shopping centers are also very close. Restaurants are also located nearby. We can only recommend Nick's Seaside Rest and will definitely come again. It is value for money.

Unit is walking distance from the beach and well located. Very safe. Just note that there is a damage deposit payable ahead of time, but also note that the host refunded us the same day we left.
Value for money, close to the sea.
Uncle Nick might look at 3 things. A gate car always just makes things easier for guests. A place for beach towels to hang, the spot by the braai area is good, but towels smell of smoke when you braai. A shoe brush by the front door, to brush sand off your feet when you come from the beach.
Nick and Jaqueline are very particular about comfort and cleanliness. We would 100 percent recommend it.

We were greeted very kindly and explained how everything works. There was secure parking for our car. We were informed on a daily basis what the loadshedding schedule would be and offered alternative lighting. Everything we could need was available to us. The place is clean, neat and very well equipped. You really feel like you are at home with a cute braai area that is well protected from Blouberg's wind and the braai is kept clean daily. There is a good water saving and recycling process in place that I would suggest to anyone. It's walking distance from the sea and cute places to eat. Nick's Seaside Rest cares about your comfort and the environment.

The location was perfect, close to the beach without being stepped on by holidaymakers, and close enough to drive to any attractions. The apartment was neat, clean, with all the necessities already set out for us, eg. sugar and milk. We felt very safe and so comfortable. We will gladly use Nick's Seaside Rest again!

The place is fantastic! It is right by the beach and the owner is very friendly. Lots of nice places to eat just walking distance away. Nice rocks and pools and lots of shells for small children. Quiet and peaceful street and we felt safe the whole time. The only thing that put me off a bit, but also understandable with the drought in the Cape, are the bowls outside the door that collect the rainwater. But it is regularly emptied. The bedding is good quality and was nice and warm with the cold weather we had. Very nice place and will definitely stay there again. Good value for money.

House is nice and spacious and close to the beach. In my opinion, the owner should not rent out the house during the water crisis, as he is very stressed about it. We did everything we could to save water, yet he came to inform us about it daily and made us feel guilty. The daily morning visits were uncomfortable and invaded our privacy.
