Plekkie is a bit expensive compared to others that have a bit more facilities. We regret that we did not pay R50 more, but for a place with a full kitchen. We knew what we could get, but even just a microwave oven would be very nice. They have very strict rules about no cooking or washing dishes, so I understand why they don't think it's necessary, but then you can't heat your takeaways either, which is basically all you're allowed to eat then? The room is VERY light in the evening. We both basically didn't sleep at all. The small window above the bed is right over a street light and the curtains aren't terribly tight either. Everything else was as advertised. Easy to find the place. We just walked in, had no trouble, and felt very private and safe. A little more attention could be paid to cleaning, but these are places that can easily be missed if only quick cleaning is done.

House was very comfortable and tidy for us, leaving load shedding times there for guests will definitely be a bonus. Cottage is perfect for two people. We will certainly introduce cottage to friends and family.

It was an incredible weekend. It was our first time in Struisbaai. Enjoyed every moment of this. Coming back after a long, fun day and taking a hot shower is the best thing ever. Was heaven on earth. Would definitely suggest it to anyone who just wants some peace and quiet.

Friendly host and it's a lovely, peaceful environment. Nirvana is centrally located - close to shops, Struisbaai Harbor and Agulhas.

The only recommendation we can make is that the owners maybe put a security gate on the sliding door - we would have liked to sleep with the sliding door open, but the times we live in make us extra careful.

The atmosphere was not inviting at all. The bathtub was a big plus. It is a pity that there was no hand washing soap in the bathroom. Although cooking is not allowed, I would recommend that plates, knives and forks should be available. The quality of the bed's mattress is power. If one would be uncomfortable sleeping with an open door, the ventilation is also not good. Cobwebs behind the bedside tables are unacceptable in my opinion. Sorry.. We will not use this service again.

Sakkie was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and lovely, we slept so well to the sound of the ocean and woke to the sound of birds. Value for money for sure. Close to everything. We were blessed. Nirvana is close to the beach, main centre and approx. 4 km from Agulhas. What more could you want. It was affordable and safe. We enjoyed everything about it and will be back for sure!

The table and chairs outside made it possible to sit outside and watch the weather. The bath and shower are perfect and the water nice and warm. The tray with coffee, tea and sugar was very welcome as was the container with milk in the fridge.

We had to be in Struisbaai for a market, just needed a rather inexpensive place to stay so we didn't expect much. I had some questions before we went there and the host gave me useful information. Also very friendly on arrival, put his car in the sun so we could park in the shadow due to the delicate stock in the car. The place is very pleasant and clean, quiet neighbourhood. WiFi worked well. This will be my first choice if I have to go back to Struisbaai!
