The location, maintenance of the complex and Wendy's customer service were great. However, the unit needs attention. It is sparsely equipped, dark, cramped and above all very old fashioned. E.g. No hooks for towels, tablecloth for table outside, glasses to match and anything "pretty". If you are in the unit you will not say you are by the sea, rather in the bushveld. This is extremely depressing. The furniture in the lounge area is clumsy for the space. If smaller furniture is used in lighter colors such as white and blue it will give a completely different feeling. Brown, orange and African cushions just don't go well with this wonderful seaside location. The location, grass, service and pool justify the price, but definitely not the unit. It may be basic, but can definitely make the experience more positive if it's light and fun - and it feels like you're actually at the sea. It was very depressing inside. None of the cutlery and crockery and place mats match, not even the 2 bath mats or bed mats and bedding and towels. How do you put orange towels with blue bedding in the master bedroom with a brown and black rug in front of the bed? The curtains are also old fashioned. The interior decoration really needs attention. Bedding and towels are thin and washed out. Unfortunately, how a place looks and "feels" also counts. If one is outside and on the stoep, it is nice, but otherwise not. The stove, frying pan and toaster also look sick.
Enjoyed the nature and its beauty.
Bedding is outdated - rest of unit needs urgent updating and grading. Will need urgent attention. Not worth the price.
The accommodation was overpriced for what it offered. No argument the location excellent, but for the price you would at least expect an AC in the main bedroom. There is a games room, but you have to take your own table tennis set and darts. No cell phone reception in the apartment, have to walk to the braai area. There is a restaurant conveniently situated about 50 m from 3 Kei Sands with delicious meals.
