Lovely house, we enjoyed our stay very much!

Relaxing and fun; only the walk up the steep driveway was really tiring.

The place to stay is very well furnished, everything you need, it's neat and clean and enough heat for the cold times. We had a great stay and look forward to a next time.

The photos are misleading, it looks like the house is against the water and the water part that was used for us was used by the neighbors and we felt very out of home. People walking through our driveway and the dishwasher was moldy and took us 2 hours to cook potatoes on the gas stove.

Awesome place down by the river. Customer service was excellent. Could easily spend another weekend there.

Wish the house had more modern things like a better TV. The house just needs a few upgrades, but the kitchen and the bathrooms were all excellent.

The house is very well equipped. Very quiet and peaceful area. Lovely to have a lapa area, including a toilet down at the river. There is no swimming pool however we were allowed to use the Goose Bay Canyon Conference centre swimming pool which was a "life saver" - it was very very hot and we were able to cool down. Will definitely be going back!

Location of the house was a big disappointment as it is across the road from the river and not bordering the river as suggested in the photos and in the name. Kitchen facilities were well equipped and tidy. Anna's cleaning service was fantastic and helpful. The underfloor heating is a great asset in the winter and the fireplace is an absolute winner. Beds were comfortable with the warm blanket and the linen and towels were neat and fresh. The indoor and outdoor braai area/reception area is very comfortable. However, the house smelled bad all weekend due to the sewage system not working properly. Some of the guests found the fact that there are no arrangements at the parking area outside dangerous and uncomfortable. The control controls for both the television and radio did not work as they should. However, our biggest disappointment with the house was the location. As indicated in the photo as well as in the name "no 11 ON the river" it creates the impression that the house borders the river although on the contrary it is situated across the road from the river. The advertisement of the location is misleading.
