30 guests' feedbackWe enjoyed our stay in No 6 so much! A beautiful house, decorated and furnished fitting to a Graaff-Reinet historical house. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. Aircons in every room. Outside we had a beautiful little garden to start our day with breakfast and coffee. Thank you so much!
Very comfortable, clean and tidy.
Thank you very much for a clean and tidy stay. Hostess was friendly and very helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at No 6. The unit transports one back to a bygone era and yet offers all the modern conveniences the heart desires. The decor is tasteful and true to the character of such a village house. Would love to visit again for a longer period.
It was a comfortable and pleasant stay for us and our dog. Thank you.
Our stay was wonderful. Thank you for your friendly service.
Very nice stay. Beautiful place to stay.
See stars.
The place has its own, old-fashioned Karoo feel. It has absolutely everything one could want after a long trip with 2 small children. After the Spur disappointed us greatly with service and quality, we could sit and have a barbecue with the children at the guest house. The air conditioning in each room was a big treat.
Wow! What a stunning cottage, centrally located near all shops, restaurants and historical sites. An extremely well-appointed home with beautiful period furniture and a well-equipped kitchen. A massive king-size bed in the main bedroom has ample space for a good night's rest. The outside area has a lovely patio and a pretty, shaded garden where our dogs loved to explore. Great value for money and highly recommended. Next time we will stay a few days!
Perfect stop over from/to Johannesburg, dog friendly and super neat. Fabulously situated across Drostdy Hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious and had everything we needed as a family of 5. Yvonne was also in constant contact and provided all the necessary information.
It was lovely, our own Karoo nest for a night.
Beautiful place, just inside parking would have offered more safety.
Pleasantly surprised, big tidy house, very comfortable, walking distance to restaurants etc. The beds are very comfortable, we had a great stay and will go back again.
Accommodation was good for overnight and for family. Neat and clean.
We had a wonderful stay.
We had a very nice stay. The house was wonderfully cool and clean and had everything we needed.
At No. 6 Guest House you get the authentic Karoo experience. The house has been beautifully restored and has all the modern conveniences, although we never even turned on a TV. The private outside area is a further plus, as well as the central location.
Very nice stay. Old house that has been beautifully taken care of. Great sleep. Very spacious and central.
The house is centrally located and perfectly suited as a calm base for a group of 4 to 6 people in Graaff-Reinet. It is well decorated with a pleasant garden and was equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were very proactive in terms of keeping us up to date (e. g. with loadshedding information provided daily, lists of recommended restaurants, etc. ) and were very helpful with regard to our ad hoc requests. The only minor irritant was the multitude of mosquitoes in the garden, but once we had prepared and equipped for this, it was not a major issue. Highly recommended.
Was a pleasant stay. Carpet in master bedroom needs cleaning. We would love to stay there again.
Beautiful house with all possible amenities close to the center and attractions in the town. Yvonne kept in touch with us all the time and kept us informed of any changes in load shedding schedule and possible water problems. She went out of her way and made extra effort to make everything as convenient as possible. And also responded immediately to the only small problem we experienced. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Was wonderfully welcomed, place is so clean and tidy and enjoyed a lovely night's rest.
Usually a person can only check in from 14hoo. We had a request to check in earlier and we were helped. The safety also very good. Will definitely use guest house again and also recommend to family and friends.
It is a very beautiful place.
A beautiful house with a warm feeling and a nice dining table. Beautiful, clean and the service was great. Will definitely go there again and recommend the place.
Lovely place with the most beautiful furniture of historical value. Comfortable beds and tidy kitchen and bathrooms. We had a wonderful stay.
Spacious, clean and tidy accommodation with a safe outdoor area for our Labrador. The house offers sleeping space for 6 people and has all the necessities for self-catering. Parking is indeed in the street but under the watchful eye of the security staff of the Drostdy Hotel. Can definitely recommend No 6.
The accommodation was comfortable with plenty of space and a nice place to hang out outside in the garden. It is very neat and well equipped and close to many attractions in Graaff-Reinet. Everyone came to visit us at the end of a long day as the place is so comfortable and well equipped. Ideal for friends hanging out or for a whole large family.
