A simple and unpretentious house offering a very good location, close proximity to a beautiful stretch of coastline, and a wonderful view of the mountain from the little porch and front garden. While it would have been nice to have access to WiFi and to be more comfortable if access to the second bathroom was inside the house, the very reasonable rate, location, and the hospitable and friendly manner of the owners more than made up for these shortcomings. We would gladly return.

I feel that the place is rented for hopelessly too little, considering that electricity and water are included and it is fully equipped, more than I expected.

The friendly warmth of the house unfolds from the moment you walk in. Just like at Grandma Sea's house, everything needed for a nice weekend or holiday is available. Games, books, tripod and a nice braai area under a big shady tree in the back garden. Our dogs also enjoyed the visit. Will definitely go again!

If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place to go. It is peaceful with only the sound of the waves and birds. We could enjoy ourselves without disturbance from the owners. I will definitely go again. Thank you Broekies and Magriet!

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, and want to be quiet for a few days, this is the ideal place. Nice, clean, tidy, fully equipped kitchen, with a beautiful view of the mountains. Everything is there for a self-catering unit. From the tarmac to the farm takes quite a while, with a few gates on the two-track path, which have to be opened and closed. So, make sure you get there before dark. A lovely view, no noise, and very safe.
Broekies and Magriet have really created a home here for the weary traveller/vacationer. If you have been here once, you will come back again and again, because it is a real oasis of rest. We have already booked our next getaway.
Everything was perfect. There was even space for our 2 Yorkies to run around in the garden. This has been one of the best place we've stayed at for our annual fly weekend and we'd definitely go there again.

First time in Hermanus. Oom Broekies and his wife were very hospitable. Holiday home very well equipped and within walking distance from the sea and cafe. Will definitely book there again and for longer.
We had a wonderful stay at Nommerpas. The accommodation is spacious and everything you need is there. The furniture and ambience is reminiscent of your grandparents' home, but everything is operational and useful. Our hosts were there when needed, but never intruded (seeing as they also live on the property). The house speaks of a history of family and love, evidenced in photographs on the walls. The ocean is nearby and it is easy to navigate the area to visit the winelands and other attractions. We will gladly visit again.

I would like to thank the Van Broekhuizen's for their hospitality. They are were wonderful hosts. It was like home away from home for us. Everything you needed was available at hand. The board games kept us entertained. The kids enjoyed themselves with outdoor play too. With the beach just down the road, it is a wonderful holiday house. We will definitely visit again.
It was a wonderful time in Nommerpas. As a family we were able to find each other again and enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty. The house, hospitality and the delicious rest were a bonus. It was very nice. The accommodation is neat and easy to find. It's nice and comfortable and walking distance from the sea.
The house is owned by such a lovely couple. So eager to make sure we had all we needed and to assist where they could. My kids and I had a wonderful time. The kids were occupied for hours with the variety of games, cards, etc at their disposal to play. They could run around and be children. It was nice to be close to the beach and to feel safe and secure at all times. We had a lovely, restful break and are looking so forward to our holiday there in October.
Number match was definitely number match for us. Uncle Broekies and Aunt Magriet welcomed us with open arms. Everything was perfect. We really only needed towels, clothes and food for our stay. There were even games to keep us busy! Absolutely worth it and we will definitely stay there again.

We had a lovely week at Nommerpas. The house is spacious and well equipped and we were warmly welcomed. The sea is only a block's walk and it was lovely to hear the waves in the evenings. We would definitely recommend it.
Very well greeted and place was neat and clean. If you forgot something at home, chances are that Nommerpas will have it. The place is well decorated. You get more than your money's worth. There are books, games and much more just a stone's throw from the ocean. Will strongly recommend it. Environment is very tranquil and we felt safe the whole time. Better than our expectations.

Kitchen, 9 utensils, is quite poor but nice, relaxing place. No garage.
It was refreshing to stay in an older, more traditional house, with large rooms and lots of character. For someone who likes to read relatively sophisticated non-fiction and good fiction, the bookstore is a feast. The location is very good for going to the beach and whale watching. The baby owls in the big tree outside were a bonus. The host and hostess are very helpful and welcoming.
