8 guests' feedbackNoorspoort is a very large house with several rooms. As if we went back in time to the Victorian area. Self-catering means you use the communal kitchen. We could walk all across the gigantic farm. If you like nature this is the place to stay.
Would have enjoyed it more if meals were offered, had to drive back to town on dirt road to buy food.
We had the cottage at Noorspoort booked, but because of expected bad weather the main house was offered to us. Just for the 2 of us the whole main house. Hesmin and Chris really have faith in people. Thanks you so much. Love.
The farmhouse is beautiful and fully equipped. The atmosphere is like an old family farm, so much so that I missed my grandfather who passed away fifty years ago. I almost went looking for him in the sheepfold.
Got "upgraded" to the main house as the cottage was under repair. Great experience. Lovely old-world ambiance, well appointed, clean and with a personal touch as if you are visiting friends.
We were welcomed like old friends and felt completely at home in this beautiful old farmhouse. The accommodation was luxuriously comfortable and the food was delicious, or should I say: "Baie lekker!" We hope we may return one day.
Large luxurious rooms with lots of character, would love to go back.
Very pleasant experience in peaceful surroundings.
