It was a great overnight nap!
After a long journey we are greeted with a warm smile and comfortable rooms. The whole house's decor and furniture give us moments where we can look back in time in wonder. With a delicious hot shower, we wash off the day and can rest our bodies on comfortable beds. Early in the morning, aunt is ready with a delicious farm breakfast (home-baked bread and homemade jam), it feels like we are sitting down at grandma's table and getting ready for the day ahead.
We had a good time with Elna and other visitors. The weather was not conducive for swimming pool use.
Breakware is insufficient. No garbage can nearby. The coffee etc. was really very old and we brought our own luckily.
Bed bugs room with single beds and no shower.
Arrival at Norfolk Pine Guest House 4pm. 3 rooms booked for 3 families. Only 1 Room was ready. Other Rooms not finished cleaning and bedding. We then divided guests between 2 large rooms. Next morning there is no coffee or sugar. Hostess was not friendly at all. When I complained about the rooms not being ready, it's like it's just normal for them. We were very dissatisfied as a group, and will definitely never recommend the guest house.

The pool was for sure a nice cool down after a long day at the Rhino & Lion Park. The room was big and the bed was so comfortable. There is a bathtub in the room and showers in the hallway with extra toilets. The garden is beautiful.

Elna was amazing and I enjoyed this hidden gem, the garden with its owls and geese and the farm feel, little reading corner and the character. Few things can be improved on i.e. the showers, but I will definitely stay there again, hopefully soon when I get a chance. I rested very well, which is what I wanted. It is a haven for sure.
For us just quick overnight stay, not too much time spent at guest house. Came late and left early. but is a neat guest house with quite a few rooms. Looks like a very nice place to visit. Very friendly service from owner and staff.
Was a bit hesitant about the location at first, but once I arrived at the destination I was quite impressed with how hidden it was. Very quiet, peaceful and reception was very friendly and polite, work kept me busy until late but there was no problem going in and out as needed. Excellent value for money and the decor inside the house amazed me. It was a very pleasant visit. Thank you very much.

For people who do not know Pretoria, the location is not far from the "highway" or shopping centers. It is an old building, but the linens and beds are durable and comfortable.

We did not get the unit we originally booked. Although the stay was not unpleasant, the shower in the room we were given was not private but open in the corner of the room. My personal preference would be that I may not stay there again for this reason.
Arrived as per booking, host thought we only arriving next day, so room was not prepared. Room very dirty, outdated, no TV, no WiFi, bathroom lights switching on/off all the time, light covers full of old moths, no proper coffee/tea facilities. The premises do not look nearly as per photos! Front door lock was also not working properly. Linen a bit dirty and overall we were not comfortable. Booked and paid for 2 nights and unfortunately only arrived after 21:00 otherwise would have left immediately! Disgusting and absolutely disappointed that this is even a listing. I'd honest suggest you revisit this premises and would appreciate a refund for the 2nd night we did not use!

We were only looking for a place to stay the night and it was wonderfully away from the city's noise. Friendly service and clean spacious rooms. Can definitely recommend it.

It was a lovely stay that felt like a farm. Would have preferred just a fan or air conditioner in room. There was also no TV as promised in the ad, but that didn't matter. Host entertained my grandson delightfully by cutting grass with him on the tractor. The friendliest host and hostess.
We weren't sure if we would be 7 or 8 people. I did inform them that we would be 2 men and 5 or 6 women. They then thought it good to put 4 women in 1 room (with 1 bathroom) and 2 men and the other women in the same room. How on earth do you manage to have strange men and women share a room? Fortunately, 1 woman would no longer come, and we then carried the other woman's bed into our room, which now meant that we had to sleep 5 women in one room. The pictures on the internet are nowhere near what it looks like. The stuff is old and nothing fits together. Curtains were simply strung through an old copper pipe. There are 2 small scrap yards on site. It looks very bad there and is not nearly worth the money.
Elna was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and tidy with the necessities to make your stay easier.

Lovely establishment with classic touch.
We slept in the separate unit outside the guest house, but overall were not satisfied with our stay. The shower at one end of the corridor as well as the bathroom section at the other end of the corridor had no doors or curtains at all. The cupboards, linens and towels were dirty, and we found an empty soda bottle under one of the beds. However, the guest house itself is located in a very peaceful area.
The guesthouse is on the way to Diepsloot and it's in a very unsafe neighbourhood. It's not well maintained and the photos create a false impression looks like they were taken years ago. No value for money at all.
Can really recommend to someone who prefers a neat rural setting.
Concerned I had to find out that it had to be a gift to a close couple to stay at Norfolk and had to be payed by them. That after everything was confirmed and the entire payment was received. Since then we have received no feedback about the double payment.
We enjoyed it. It is located near a large center. I know it's bed and breakfast, but would have enjoyed it if there was cold water and ice in the fridge.
We only stayed one night. If I can criticize anything, it's the location. I looked up Centurion area on the internet, and it was 30 km from Centurion Mall. Quite far for the city. We still had a wonderful stay. I think if you have more than one couple sleeping there privacy can be a problem. You live in the house with no outside access.

Elna is an awesome hostess. She is accommodating and welcoming and makes one feel so relaxed. The stay was a present to someone, they enjoyed their stay and especially loved the comfortable pillows. I myself would love to stay here one day.
Good service, felt very safe, nice location.
