Loved the hot tub. Needs more pillows, and upgraded bathrooms.
We only stayed overnight. We were treated with great kindness and helpfulness. Overnight stay was very comfortable. Enjoyed the Jacuzzi so much!
Just a suggestion: Each bed only has 1 pillow per person and there wasn't an extra blanket in a closet. Not that you normally need extra blankets in Phalaborwa, but there was a cold front. We had a wonderful stay otherwise.
The 2 staff members were very pleasant, and the breakfast was nice. The unit needs a good clean: curtains, windows, cupboards, etc.
The chalets are well equipped, but note that there are no televisions. The included breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. The staff do their best with what is available to them, are helpful and friendly. The swimming pool is very nice and a relief in the heat of the bushveld. I really enjoyed my stay there.
The accommodation and service was 5 star!
The bathroom lights do not work and the bathroom has no doors. The place is a bit tired and not really maintained. The breakfast was really nice.
The guests in question were extremely loud from about 11pm to 4am. We were on our way to do service in Kruger Wildlife Park, so it was a disappointing start to our project.
The management did make an effort to resolve matters, but first impressions remain lasting. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful and dealt with complaints quickly.
It was a great breakaway and good value for money. If you want the bells and whistles you need to look elsewhere. The staff were great and as we were visiting Kruger wanted an early start. At 05:00 our packed breakfasts were ready with a flask of boiling water for coffee. Would highly recommend. The only negative from my side was the road to get there. The last 4 km's is gravel and not great but if you do slowly no issue.
The accommodation has a lot of potential, but is badly neglected. The workers are very friendly and helpful, but there is no owner or management to be seen.
Wow, the place to stay is perfect for a family, peaceful and quite well equipped. Very hospitable.
