16 guests' feedbackOur time at Nosterdomus was fantastic and we would recommend the place to anyone. It is fantastically furnished with everything one needs for a nice holiday. Just note that the master bedroom's one bedside lamp needs a new bulb.
Great family house. The location was perfect with amazing views. A stone's throw away from the beach, which made the stay more enjoyable. Rooms were comfortable with amazing views. The house has a splash pool, which is obviously way too cold to use in winter, but apparently the owner is converting it to a heated pool in winter, which will make it perfect for this time of the year. Definitely will stay here again.

Beautiful view! House's decor is not really that of a west coast house, but very interesting! You truly marvel at everything. The owner has thought of everything and it is a very comfortable house with the most beautiful views. Beds sleep fantastic. Only negative is that there were no wine glasses. For the price one pays, one would expect that there would also be at least one or two tablets for the dishwasher. Mothball smell caught us a bit, but the views and house made up for it! Haven't had such a nice stay in a long time!
Although the house is super and we loved the fire pit in the front garden, we felt a bit let down by the local letting/cleaning agent with the petty approach to only 1 toilet roll per bathroom, 1 kitchen towel, 2 dishwashing machine tablets, and about 10mm of useless dishwashing liquid! Also no toilet spray in any of the bathrooms and no soap in the ground floor guest toilet. Also disappointing was to find no hairdryer.
Poolside lounge beds mattress too thin and uncomfortable. Shutter furtherest from pool did not lock. Security is weak.
We found everything in the house that we needed in order to make our stay comfortable and memorable. If we could perhaps comment that there is some maintenance required on the electrics (heater doesn't work, plugs in the middle room don't work, one light downstairs does not switch off). The fireplaces need a service (both downstairs and upstairs). These are just things that we noticed, but did not really affect our stay.
The splash pool is definitely a big attraction. The neighbors only came once to complain about the heating pump running.
Lively place right on the beach. Had a fantastic time.
It's rare that a place exceeds your expectations. There is everything you need. It would be nice if there might have been waiting for our first bag of wood and lightning. Also needs a decent bottle opener. Other than that, everything was perfect.
Really enjoyed the long weekend in Paternoster. Even with the weather we had a great time and relaxed. The house is very clean and tidy and very much enjoyed. Enough moving space without everyone falling over each other's feet. Breathtaking view of the sea and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Incredibly beautiful with a fantastic way to enjoy your whole family. Will do it again and soon! Thank you for an amazing family getaway in a gem of a village. Love it!

On day one when we arrived the gas of the stove ran out within about 5 minutes, we called the agent and they fixed it right away which we appreciated. The only negative were that we found dirty plates in the cupboard, probably should have been checked before someone else checks in. Also we would recommend that an agent meets the visitors at the property and give a quick tour of the house and how lights, machinery etc. works. Otherwise we had a great time and will certainly come again.
The house is very stylish and the layout makes it ideal for 6 guests.
Very enjoyable weekend. Well situated property. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Lounge suite however needs some attention for comfort. We loved being right on the beach. Overall we loved our weekend getaway.

No check-ins or check-outs are offered on Christmas Day or New Year's Day.The balance of the booking is to be paid 3 days before arrival.
This unit may only accommodate the number of guests specified on the booking invoice at any given time.
No loud music after 22:00.
No parties on the property, management reserves the right to evict tenants that do not adhere to this rule.
Kindly note that we do not have the authorization to do credit card payments on behalf of guests, we only accept EFT/Bank transfers.
A R 650.00 key- and breakage deposit is payable on arrival. It is refundable within 7-14 working days after the house has been inspected and all found in order. Keys will not be handed over under any circumstances without full payment received.
DStv can be activated at the cost of R 25.00 per day.
There is a pet fee of R250 for up to 2 dogs per house. No more than 2 dogs at a time.
