As a low-impact eco-lodge, the entire place is run on solar technology. Water is harvested and stored in tanks. Waste is collected and disposed of in the nearby town of Willowvale. All travellers are welcome - from backpackers and volunteers, corporate guests, to small gatherings or conferences.

2 guests' feedbackThe road was not easy-going. Would recommend a 4x4. The place was well worth the effort to get to though. A real get away from city life with National Geographic like scenery. Kilometers of unspoilt beaches to walk on and a beautiful river for canoeing and swimming. Accommodation is very rustic, but has everything you need. Will definitely be back.
We loved our stay at Nqabara. Beautiful natural paradise. Beaches, estuaries and forest in good condition. No crowds or commercial activities. Road to get there is very slow.
