73 guests' feedbackHad a great stay, will definitely go again. Hospitality and service excellent! Can recommend Nuanetzi for sure.
Very quiet and not too far from the city. Fantastic view from deck of chalet. Very friendly reception and service during the stay. Many thanks to the host. Rest and peace to your soul.
The chalet is beautiful, set on the side of the mountain - the view is incredible. Amenities are simple, great for a braai and glass of wine! Although the road there is a bit rough, it is easily accessible. Ask for the lowest chalet if you have difficulty walking, as they are accessible via a pathway with steps. The hosts were friendly and assisted us with our luggage. I will definitely look at booking again next year!
The view was amazing, and the owners are extremely nice people.
Value for money. Very nice view. Make sure you pack light because the parking is far from the units. The units are also up on the mountain, so the walk is exhausting. It's also hot, fans are available, but take one with you.
We had a nice stay. It's a neat and clean place and it's peaceful.
Will definitely visit again.
A wonderful place to relax. Friendly service from day of arrival to day of departure. The generator was a plus against the load shedding. Will definitely come again.
Very nice area and quiet. Chalets are well equipped and Brendon is always available if help is needed.
Everything you need and more. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Thanks to Brendon and his team! Will definitely recommend them.
Walked on the farm and encountered different species of buck. Enjoyed a game drive as well. Everything we needed in our chalet, quiet and close to nature.
What a great place! Incredible view from our chalet. Very well equipped! Exceptional hospitality from the owners who warmly welcomed us and made our stay absolutely worth it. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Joe, Jolandie and Brendon for an experience we will remember for a long time! The roar of lions, hyena sounds and the howling of jackals in the evenings was an experience for young and old! Also saw a variety of goats. Had a great visit at an affordable price! Will go to Nuanetzi Game Lodge again!
It was very nice to stay there and will go there again.
Just think guests should be aware that a sedan cannot easily / at all drive the 1 km road to guest parking - road not good. Our sedan wouldn't be able to drive it. Maybe consider servicing the unit at some point: dishes, etc. It's just advice/thoughts based on personal experience. Others may experience it differently. And it's by no means a negative criticism. Regardless: it's a great lodge and would love to stay there again!
Had a very nice relaxing weekend. Would definitely recommend them.
Place was very neat and clean, peaceful and nice to relax. People of the place are very friendly and helpful.
Will definitely visit again.
Nice location and ideal to break away from the city. Close enough for a weekend. Can relax and enjoy nature.
We were kindly welcomed by Brendon. We had a great time on this beautiful farm. Lots of space for walking and cycling. The host took us on a game drive and told us more about the environment, plants and animals. We will definitely visit Nuanetzi Game Lodge again.
Brandon immediately makes guests feel welcome. Would recommend fishing. Quiet environment.
Truly a lovely getaway in beautiful nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very neat, well-furnished accommodation. Excellent service and friendliness.
It was unforgettable to spend time with my family in the atmosphere of amazing, personal service. In the tranquility of the bushveld one almost got used to neglected facilities but this was different. The cleanliness and heart put into service to Nuanetzi's customers was noticeable.
Comfortable.
Amenities are very good.
Would go again anytime.
Lots of places to visit for the day in the area. Beautiful well cared for animals. Had a wonderful nature drive.
I took my parents for the weekend to get away from the city. We stayed 2 nights and it was just what we needed. The view from our deck was breathtaking. The game drive was also very enjoyable. If you are looking for silence and nature, this is the place.
Lots to do in the surrounding area and so peaceful in the bush, will definitely go back again.
Quiet in the forest, nice view, nice for walks in the forest, good service.
My sister and I had a great stay at Nuanetzi. The manager and staff were very helpful with carrying luggage up and down. We even did a game drive one morning which was lovely. I will visit it again.
Very pleasant stay, enjoyed it.
Bushut was comfortably furnished with everything you need. Will only make one recommendation and that is to put up more comfortable chairs at the braai, or you should take your own camping chair. It was definitely a very nice experience. Staff were also outstanding.
We had a very nice stay. Beautiful place with wonderful owners. Quiet and peaceful with the most beautiful view from our deck. Will definitely stay there again.
Very nice view and good service. Take Doom with you, because you're going to get gogos. If I have one suggestion it is to upgrade the fridge. Pulled hard.
The only problem is that it's just impractical from your car to the chalets. It is too far to bring your bags to the chalets.
Lots of places to walk and look for wildlife, but the easiest is actually to sit on the porch and wait for the animals to come to the watering hole. Just remember the binoculars.
Stay was great.
Very nice visit, friendly welcome, helpful with carrying our luggage. It was Bushveld at its best even though it is still dry, will definitely want to go again after some rain.
Nuanetzi was hospitable from the start. We are carried on hands. More is done for a person than you expect. Great to also experience farm life. The environment is picturesque. Chalets are well equipped with everything one needs.
Owners very friendly, hospitable and helpful.
Access road not for normal vehicles, especially the last bit. Needs improvement. Not indicated beforehand. Parking too far away from accommodation. No double-beds.. Not recommended for disabled people. Too much noise from bar/pool area in the evenings/afternoons. Too much noise from other guests in the evenings/afternoons. No private game drives allowed. Staff/owners very friendly and helpful. Value for money (i.e. price matches quality). Scales in kettle. No smoking allowed inside accommodation. Did not see any game. Beds too short for taller people. Hand-railing in bathroom continuously falls/breaks off. Outside shower not as advertised. Not private at all. Suitable if you are a naturist or like other people watching you shower. Must wash and pack away dishes before leaving?! Paranoid owners. Before you leave they come and count the towels and dishes. Says something about the type of people that normally visit.
It was a pleasant and peaceful break from the city noise. Seen enough wild. The host Brendon as well as his helper Willem were very helpful and hospitable from our arrival to departure. A special word of thanks to them.
Had a great stay, would recommend.
Service was great and Brandon the farm manager made you feel welcome! There was help with luggage to carry it up to the mountain huts. Will definitely stay there again.
Our family really enjoyed our stay at Nuanetzi! The chalets are beautiful and well equipped. The views stunning and the atmosphere relaxing and peaceful! The hosts are really helpful and friendly. We, as a family, would definitely visit Nuanetzi again.
Welcoming was very nice, they showed us how everything work. Asked id we need anything. Very nice place and beautiful.
Many thanks to Joe and Jolandie for a wonderful weekend! Thank you for your hospitality and kind help. For sure a weekend I will do again in the summer. Keep up the good work and see you soon!
Friendly, helpful service, beautiful surroundings, very peaceful. Bungalows small and dark would recommend they change wall colors and curtains can look much more accessible. No place to hang washcloths, somewhat of a problem. Lighting on braai area only from one direction which makes braai a bit difficult. Request to leave bungalow clean, but no mop or scrub bucket available. Crackware out of place and run down, with a little effort it could be a very nice place to visit. Centrally located with lovely atmosphere. Really enjoyed it, but little things bothered. Terribly many types of lighting with different types of grow lamps, mirror in room in very impractical place. I know I sound difficult, but probably only because I really enjoyed it and would like to recommend people there.
People who really like the unspoiled forest will enjoy it a lot. Persons sensitive to spiders and other crawling bugs will enjoy it less. The sleeping units and spaces to be shared are small. The outdoor kitchen is unique. Brendon came regularly to find out if everything was still okay.
A wonderful experience. Very good service and friendly staff. Everything was ready and neat when we arrived. Good amenities and fantastic atmosphere.
What an unforgettable weekend at Nuanetzi. It was truly hearty food for the soul. Brendan went out of his way to make the weekend memorable. His knowledge of the wildlife on the game drives was incredible. The accommodation was as described. Because you park some distance from the unit, carrying the luggage was a bit of a hurdle, but Brendan and his henchman stepped in and helped and the little walk up was definitely worth it when you saw the view. I will stay there again.
The Bosveld at its best, with plenty of wildlife that can be viewed on foot. As well as the most friendly host. It's a fantastic game farm, clean, tidy lodges. Definitely a place for rest for the soul.
We rested wonderfully and enjoyed it. The chalets may be a bit close to each other so we felt we had to keep the children quiet so as not to disturb people. The view is very beautiful and we saw beautiful animals and had a nice walk. The chalets are basic but have pretty much everything you need.
Access route is very rough and not really suitable for a car. Cottages are cozy with a good view. The third person's bed was a sofa bed which is simply too uncomfortable to sleep on. It can easily replace them with a bed. The host and wife were really incredibly friendly and helpful. If you want to stay in the forest this is a good option.
Very nice stay and received with kindness. Opportunity to go hiking and wildlife watching. All the necessary facilities on the farm. Lots to do in the area. We will definitely make a visit again.
Very friendly service and helpful with everything. Everything was very clean and tidy.
Joe, Jolandi and Brendan is unbelievably hospitable and really made us feel welcome and at home. Was lovely, relaxing and peaceful to just rest in God's creation with a breathtaking view and fresh air. Thankful for the experience with wonderful friends. I was even sad when it was over. Can't wait to go stay there again.
Friendly staff that saw to all of our needs. We drove around with our bicycles and enjoyed the braai in the evening. Thank you very much for a lovely couple of days.
Warm reception, we felt at home immediately. Really appreciated the fact that the resort is so tidy. We stayed 17 days, had to get a break because we have very demanding jobs. I can recommend it to anyone who needs a break. The game and nature is really beautiful. We wil be back, the owners are wonderful.
Perfectly located if you want to escape from all the noise and hustle and just enjoy the calm of nature. The cabins and chalets are beautifully furnished and offer all the necessary accessories. All that may bother you is the uphill road from the parking area to your chalet, especially if you have heavy cooler boxes and a lot of luggage. The walk is lovely but the slope a bit exhausting.
Peaceful area, surrounded by nature. Friendly people and always helpful. Good value for money. Clean chalets, neatly appointed. Thanks so much, won't ever forget this place.
Owners and staff very friendly and helpful. Chalets and area clean. Neat facilities. Easy to walk around and watch the game (wildebeest, kudu, impala, warthog, blesbuck, etc.). Guided game rides available. Chalets close to each other, but nobody disturbed us. Starry sky at night. Very peaceful and quiet.
What a wonderful weekend. We enjoyed hiking, very safe! You se the animals from up close. A lot of birds! The chalets are well equipped, everything you need is there. Our chalet looked over the water hole, I could spend hours on the deck. The only "complaint" is that the chalets are very close to each other so you can hear other guest's conversations. One big complaint is that there are 4 chalets, one group had 3 of the chalets and we had the other one. The group made a lot of noise and also played music from morning till night. There will definitely have to be looked at noise/music. You are in the bush, so all you want to hear are is sounds from the bush.
See stars.
Stunning place and very nice to just relax. Everything was very clean and neat. Might be a good idea to inform guests that they can't park at the unit, all your luggage has to be carried up.
The people are very friendly and it is very peaceful and beautiful there, but other than that there is not much to do. There is a cold water swimming pool but for the children it was not enough. What you are not told is that the parking is very far from the chalets and that you have to carry all your luggage there. You also have to walk a long way from there to the pool. Except for the long uphill, it is otherwise very beautiful and peaceful there. I'm just very grateful that my mother didn't go with me because she would never have been able to walk up there and you're not aware of that when you book, but apart from that we enjoyed the peace and quiet.
For people who just want to have a nice rest and a getaway from the city, it is perfect. Nice to be able to see the game from your patio and the nights are perfect for stargazing. The manager's service is very good and the game drive was pleasant. We will definitely go again.
We had a wonderful stay at Nuanetzi. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We even stayed a day longer than intended. The only thing we could complain about was that the fridge was too small for three days' food and that you had no view from the braai-area where we spent a lot of time. The rest was really an exceptional experience. Especially the game outings on the farm.
Wonderful view and peaceful. A great weekend getaway.
It is a wonderful resort to experience the tranquility of the woodland. The facilities are good and clean and very tidy. However, there is a lack of staff and we were completely left to our own devices one day with only one gardener present on the entire site.
