The unit is very spacious, neat and spotless. The environment is peaceful with friendly farm animals.
Expected only the basics but got much more.
Peaceful Karoo visit. Everything very neat. Everything works. Safe.

Just slept there. Unsettled because no burglar alarm at chalet 200m from N1 on farm.
If you want to visit Aquila or just want to rest from the N1, this is your place. Neat, clean, nice barbecue place ─ what more could you ask for?
We were not disturbed by the proximity to the N1.

Really enjoyed the animals and nature.
I was kindly welcomed. Everything in the house was clean and tidy. The shower water was hot and everything in the house worked. THEY even made sure there were enough two-point wall plugs to charge cell phones and other electrical accessories. The bed was comfortable. It's a nice place to just come and relax in a farm setting. This site is surrounded by an electric fence so I felt safe.
Walked around the premises and took photos of the peacocks and nearby town. The gas stations are close by, which made it the perfect stopover for us.
Felt very safe, peaceful farm atmosphere but actually only a few meters from N1 and 1 km from town. Only missed a fireplace with the minus degrees we had, but at least bedding was warm and enough.
Die plek het baie erg na rook geruik. Stort drup. Steakmeshef was met masking tape vasgestrap. Die tarief is te hoog vir die geriewe. Lekker naby aan Touwsrivier. Poue en eende op voorstoep was heerlike vermaak.
The host, Christiaan, is friendly and helpful. I would recommend Nuwedam without hesitation.

Warm welcome, cute and cosy cottage that was secluded and private. Complementary coffee, sugar, tea, milk and bottled water came in handy! The place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A very respectful and friendly host too. Will definitely be back again!
The check-in process may be shorter. Cute place. Would recommend air railing in the future and gravel around the unit to keep dust out of my sandals. Good place for stargazing.
