Each chalet has an open plan lounge, dining room, kitchen with fridge, freezer, stove and microwave oven, air conditioning, covered patio and braai facility. Each camping site contains electrical point and water, well-designed ablution block as well as a scullery. There is a beautiful swimming pool as well as bath and dry area for scuba diving gear.
Please note that the accommodation is reached by means of a gravel road and guests are required to enquire about the condition of the road before booking.
The chalets are cleaned by our housekeeping staff on a daily basis. Service includes making beds, washing dishes, cleaning floors and bathrooms. We do have a restaurant and a caterer on demand for breakfast and dinner.

19 guests' feedbackWe had such a nice stay at Nwabu. The 6 bedrooms are large inside and each room sleeps well, there is a large swimming pool and each spot has a braai area. It's nice and clean inside. It was also only 7 km from the beach. Thank you very much for the good service.
It was a very pleasant driver who helped with everything if needed. Place was very nice. Pool was always nice and clean. There is a fan in every room. There is a generator for loadshedding time. There was only a slight problem with hot water at some of the showers. But overall a fantastic, unforgettable holiday with nice accommodation.

The hospitality shown to us was excellent with the friendliest people. The house we stayed in was neat and very comfortable. Will definitely go there again and recommend it to other people.
The lodge has a beautiful garden and pool with safe facilities, and located in a beautiful area.
We used 4 6 bed chalets. When we arrived they had to replace the one fridge because it doesn't get cold. He was covered under the ice. The water was literally a problem in all four apartments every single day. Our complaints felt like effort. The excuses didn't make any sense because they are gas geysers. There was literally no hot water. In one apartment he came to replace a battery after the 3rd day and from then on the apartment at least had hot water. The other 3 do not. The children could not play pool or watch TV because the caretaker was watching TV and told them to keep quiet and not make noise. He watches TV where the guests' reception area is. The braai light by the pool is not working. It was reported the first night. It's not replaced. Two of the chalets' stoves were so dirty inside. We didn't want to use it. One stove, the cleaners were called to come and remove the maggots from the oven. Two apartments' bedding is so dirty and the towels smelled so bad. The explanation we got was that the water was dirty after the power went out and the bedding was washed in the muddy water. But it's 'clean' enough for guests. The problem there is that everything is left to the staff and the caretakers don't look after everything. On the penultimate day, the aunt only came to ask what was wrong because then we really started to get unhappy. We were there for 4 nights.
The shade nets are great. Very comfortable and good service.
I am happy about my choice to stay there with my family. I would prefer if there was better lighting and signaling around the cottages, but I would definitely stay there again in the future.
It was beautiful and neat but our chalet had other people in. Die sign is faded so without a GPS you'll drive past it easily and the road to the lodge is in poor condition.

Accommodation and premises were neat.
Nwabu Lodge itself is lovely, clean, tidy and friendly hostess. The 6 km to the beach is not a problem either, but the R45 per person and R55 per car every day to enter iSimangaliso.
No air conditioning in the bedrooms.
Wonderful friendly people with excellent value for money. I would recommend Nwabu to anyone looking to holiday in Sodwana.
