We had the best time there, the accommodation was wonderful, the villa contains everything you could possibly need for self-catering, and the wildlife literally walks and grazes a few meters from you. Johann and Kim are the friendliest hosts. Will definitely return there again!

It does depend on the other guests as the peace and tranquility is dependent on this. Should change jacuzzi to a hot tub as it takes 6 hours to warm up.

The cottage is beautifully furnished with everything one could need for a getaway. It's so peaceful to watch the animals from the stoep, so wei-wei move past.

The unit was very pleasant and we had a great time relaxing. The owner gives very good feedback via WhatsApp and is always ready to help. The temporary foreman was also always there and ready to help. The DSTV is on the full package, so watching rugby was a nice bonus. There was also free WiFi available, but I don't know if this is a permanent setting. We would highly recommend the stay.

Nyala is a special unit. Comfortable, quiet and private. Perfectly equipped the decor is very nice. The environment is beautiful with some animals that come to say hello, the game drive with George was wonderful, and His knowledge of the field and the animals was nice to hear. Kim and Johann are wonderful and friendly owners even on my way there they kept checking up if we were still okay and in the right direction and if nothing was missing Nyala Bush Villa feels like one's own home.
The unit is very tidy with everything you need for a carefree stay. Ample space for a cozy gathering that includes a fire pit, clean pool and jacuzzi. Johan made sure that our stay was a special one. There is limited wifi connection and bring your own load shedding lights. Be aware that there is no water during load shedding. The indoor fireplace is also not usable but there are enough blankets for those cold evenings.
Nyala is a special unit. Comfortable, quiet and private. Perfectly equipped. The environment is beautiful with some animals such as the nyalabul and ostriches that come to say hello every day. Johan and Kim are wonderful and friendly owners and nothing is missing. The gates of paradise are in the Bushveld near Thaba Tholo. Going 2 more times this year.
Very nice stay. The hospitality of Johann and Kim is great. The chalet is clean and tidy and they make you feel very much at home. The animals that graze in front of your porch make it that much more enjoyable and relaxing. Will visit them again.

The Nyala unit is luxurious and spacious. There is everything you need for a wonderful visit. And a Nyala bull that comes to say hello every morning. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet. The game drives with farm manager Koos were wonderful. His knowledge of the field and the animals was nice to hear. We will be back soon.

In the woods with everything you need.
This visit was exactly what we were looking for and more. The villa is very well equipped and super tidy. It exceeded our expectations! The farm is beautiful and very peaceful, no noise. The farm manager, Koos, was available all weekend if we needed him, but did not intrude on our private time at all. He took us for a game drive on the farm and put in a lot of effort - he has an incredible knowledge of the animals and nature in general. This was definitely the first of many visits. Thank you.
I can honestly say Nyala Bush Villa is great! Now that's real 5-star self-catering! The farm is beautiful and the wildlife makes for a wonderful experience. Kim and Johann are the best hosts and we can't wait to go again.
We were kindly received and had a great time relaxing. The villa is well equipped for a small group of people. We really enjoyed having the wildlife come right up to the unit to eat. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early. There were severe wildfires that reached the houses and we had to evacuate for safety. The August winds were severe and fueled the fires.
Very neat, well equipped unit. The animals that graze right at the unit are the highlight. Good braai facilities and boma area where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful woodland. Everyone was very hospitable and friendly during our visit.
We had a wonderful stay at Nyala. This is a beautifully appointed self-catering unit. Everything you need is here. The plunge pool makes it even better to cool off in the heat of the bush. Nice barbecue place and we were spoiled with the beautiful wildlife and birdlife. The only criticism is the dirt road. There are parts that are beautiful and parts that are less beautiful. So just be aware of the approximately 15 km dirt road. If you do have a pickup or something like that, you'll be able to tackle the road easily (less fun if you're not used to dirt roads). Furthermore, we can only speak in awe of the wonderful place. We stayed two nights and could have easily spent another day or two just sitting there appreciating the silence and tranquility. Thank you for the incredibly beautiful place you make available and Uncle Koos warmly welcomed us, made us feel at home and told us wonderful stories.

Nyala Bush Villa feels like one's own home, very cute and nicely equipped. The decor is very nice and the braai facilities are well equipped. Of course the pool is a view of its own, had a really nice swim. The best part of the whole weekend was seeing all the wildlife, right on your own porch!
Our stay at Nyala Bush Villa was amazing, we enjoyed every moment of our staycation.
Maybe they should remove the Jacuzzi from what is there, loadshedding was the excuse, but there was no loadshedding on Saturday or Sunday. My criteria that I always look for are Jacuzzi and woodland. But Jacuzzi didn't work. Maybe throw pipes on the canopy and heat a regular pool. Yes, it's probably always hot there, but it would have been nicer. Place is beautiful, clean and tidy. Everything was beautiful and nothing was lacking for cooking or grilling. Can wholeheartedly recommend the place.

Very neat house and quite well equipped. The website describes the building as a two bedroom house, this is not correct. The master bedroom is part of the living room and kitchen area. The website also indicates that there is a jacuzzi, this is true, but the jacuzzi is not available for use due to load shedding

Wow is all we can say! It's easily one of the nicest and most beautiful getaway spots we've ever been to! The Villa is excellently furnished and perfect for rest! I would recommend Nyala Bush Villa to anyone who needs a break from the city! We just want to say a big thank you to the owners!

Nyala Bush Villa is a place where you can go to relax. The house is something out of a magazine, the layout, decor and location. It's vacationing in style! The best aspect of the whole Villa, it is owned by 2 wonderful hosts Johann and Kim who make the stay there just that much more special. We had a great time there!

What I appreciated was the customer service they offered. I didn't bring food because i thought I would eat at some restaurant, plans had to change due to bad weather. They offered to take me to town to buy food at a very reasonable charge. Coming back next year.
