Perfect place to rest close to nature!
Nice, relaxing, and calming.
The campsites are nicely equipped and comfortable. The children could enjoy riding their bikes without us worrying about their safety. Went out of their way to accommodate us and even brought wood to our camp. It was cute that they put everything you order on a (tab) and then you just pay for it when you check out. We will definitely return during the summer to be able to enjoy the pool as well.

Great fun with the antelopes that walk through the campsite. With our own bathroom and kitchen it was really private and safe. The woman at reception was so friendly. We could call her 24/7 if we needed anything.

A nice get-away, my son loved all the bunnies. Very accommodating and friendly staff. I would just seriously recommend installing air conditioning in the units and getting better sleeper couches, the mattress is a bit thin. I would also recommend stating that there is only a shower. Other than that, very neat and lovely stay.
We had a lovely stay at Nyani Lodge, and the management/staff went out of their way to accommodate us with our needs (extra snacks/drinks/hospitality). Management/staff were very friendly and are committed to their guests' happiness and needs. Will visit them for sure in the foreseeable future.
Had a nice stay. Solar for evening lighting would be a bonus if there is load shedding.
Friendly reception and also made an effort to provide breakfast at 06h00 because we had to drive early. Good location, animals nearby to see (they were fed). Quiet environment. Next constructive criticism: Towels need to be replaced with new ones. Unfortunately there was a lot of commotion and noise from the bar and loud music that woke us up and kept us awake. Actually came for the tranquility. No glass panel at the shower to stop water, so the entire floor was wet, creating a potential hazard for people to slip and get injured.

Camping spot was clean with a private bathroom. The built-in braai under a roof was great for a rainy night. Be prepared for the staff to come and clean the braai and lapa very early. I would have preferred for them to come after 10h00.

We had a great stay, it was peaceful and actually exactly what we needed. My boyfriend and I both work for the emergency services and were in desperate need of a break away from the hustle and bustle of life. After visiting Nyani Lodge, we not only appreciate each other more, but also the passion for our work. There is one problem though, I still had to pay money. It was out of our budget.
Facilities are not maintained. The shower was very bad. The braai area is not yet as finished as in the photos. The fridge didn't get very cold. There is a door between the houses which means that you can hear your neighbor word for word.
Very nice and quiet. Braai area right Lang's our room just a pity also the staff's kitchen which was a bit noisy. Had option to grill at Boma though.

The place is great, I believe the beds need to be changed, they had their days. Friendly staff, always willing to give the best service.
No mosquitoes. Generator during load shedding. All kinds of extras such as microwave, two-plate stove and Weber.
We stayed in the overnight rooms. The staff were helpful, although they appeared a little unprepared. The one room's door could not close at all. Everything was clean and tidy. The noisy diesel generator operating in load shedding was outside my bedroom. That's just how it goes with all the load shedding! What was interesting is that there is also no water when there is no electricity. Our expectation was more of a "bush" experience than Nyani offered, but it was still very enjoyable. Nyani is located outside Dinokeng. It's basically a smallholding. There are some zebras, blesboks, and 3 springboks, which were cute.

Absolutely loved it. Didn't like the idea of no water on Saturday and Sunday mornings, but would definitely stay there again. Would love if they can add a small bonfire pit at each luxury campsite, that would be amazing.

The units are listed to sleep 5, but there are only 2 single beds and one couch and 2 fold-out sofa beds in the unit. So it would be mentioned in the summary of the accommodation that one does not expect that there are 5 beds.
The kitchen equipment was sparse. No bottle/can opener. No serving dishes or cutting board. The couch in the lounge wasn't really suitable for an adult. For a nature area there was invasive, schedule 1 shrubs in the grounds. The Nature Reserve also had many invasive plants including syringa and lantana.
Service was good and the place was neat, but advertising of the accommodation was not correct and therefore an unrealistic expectation was created.

Lovely getaway near Dinokeng Groot 5 gate. Nice swimming pool, outdoor facilities and bar for hanging out together. Listen to the night sounds of the wildlife at night around your own private boma.

Easily reached from Jhb for a weekend break. Dirt roads are adequate, but need gentle driving for cars other than 4x4s because of the recent weather. Andre and Liesel offer a warm welcome and useful tips on activities in the area. The entertainment, bar and pool areas are lovely. Units wonderfully peaceful, secluded and well-appointed. A bit short on cutlery and cooking utensils. Very comfortable beds with mozzie nets. Retractable trellis gates offer security without feeling prison-like. The private covered parking, patios and braai pits are a delight. Had a lovely weekend, will definitely go again.
The unit we stayed in had a lovely veranda where we could hang out and look out over the field. We could grill nice meat and listen to the night sounds. Perfect if you want to get away from the city for a night or two.
Had a great stay, hosts were very welcoming! I have to however advise guests to check condition of the road before leaving, the road on the way to accommodation (main road in Dinokeng) is extremely bad.

Liesel and André are literally available 24/7. If you're looking for ice cream, they have it, if you're looking for wood, it's there and if you just ask where the nearest shop is to buy 2lt of ice cream (late afternoon), it's there a while later. Unbelievable service!

Attention will have to be paid to the smaller things, such as external doors that can lock, internal doors that can be locked and hinge oil, to limit disturbing noises at night. Creaky beds. The sounds from the adjacent unit were also disturbing. Unfortunately, it all worked together to prevent a light sleeper from being well rested.
Would recommend for older people who want to rest. For people who are adventurous, it is not recommended at all.
Would recommend to any couple and was very well received.
A wonderful getaway close to home, Andre has for us some places we can visit near the Lodge. Feeling like we were the owners of the Lodge, Andre gave us so much space and said here it is here it is make it your own. Walked into the Lodge every morning and afternoon to watch wildlife. The dirt roads are very level and neat. Would recommend the lodge to anyone.

The lodge is located close to Pretoria and is perfect for a peaceful weekend in the Bushveld. Dinokeng's gate is close by, but it is difficult to spot the wild due to the thick bushes. The lodge itself has everything that is needed and the boma is perfect for when wanting to sit around a little fire in the evening. The owners are also really friendly and helpful.
It was absolutely fantastic! Andre was very helpful (especially with the ice when we got there). The chalet was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a lovely, peaceful break. It was cleaned daily by a friendly cleaning crew. It was quiet and peaceful with the goats that came to visit every now and then. We will definitely go again soon. It's nice and close to drive and I can recommend Nyani Lodge to anyone looking for a nice, peaceful holiday. I will just book longer next time.
Very close to Pretoria. Andre made us feel very much at home with the amenities and little goats playing on the lawn. Everything is clean and tidy. Not much to do for small children, but perfect place for quiet relaxation for a few days. We saw a lot of birds and heard a fox and lions in the evening.

This is the ideal getaway spot near Pretoria. This is for a quiet relaxing weekend in the bush with the tranquility of nature around you. It is also ideal for small groups of friends and groups who want to have fun together. The hospitality is fantastic and we will definitely use Nyani Lodge again for a quick getaway.

It was our second visit to Nyani and if it wasn't for the dirt road, or if I had a bakkie, I would actually enjoy a break 4x a year to the silence, hospitality, good barbecue or their delicious food! A few small changes can only make it even more convenient. But really there is nothing to complain about. A very neat place and Andrè and Tiaan always ready to help immediately where they can! Ideal place to come and isolate yourself if you want to spend more time with your Creator! Thank you guys! Roma and I will see you again soon.

Our stay was very nice, although we were under the impression that the restaurant would be open according to the information we received. When we got there we were informed that the restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays - exactly the opposite of what we asked. We had to drive to Pretoria to buy food.
