10 guests' feedbackWell received by the owner, it was clean, neat, and well-located in Clarens. Really enjoyed our stay.
We contacted the owner on Thursday afternoon to book in, she got the dates mixed up and didn't know we were coming that day, we had to wait 3 hours until after 17h00 in the afternoon before she was back in town. Wine and sparkling wine glasses were very dirty. She also asked us to put a towel over the ottoman before we put anything down because it is less cleaning work for her. The closet had no storage space for clothes. She is out of town on Sunday. The tiny coffee container was empty, water and wifi were off and she left her dog on a leash tied to the porch. She was very friendly but I wouldn't describe her as professional or helpful.
Clean and tidy with so many extra amenities, such as biscuits, milk, coffee and more. Welcome feeling. Beautiful kitchen with everything needed, and gas stove which was indispensable with load shedding. Lovely, warm sleep in the cold weather. Thank you very much Laetitia for your hospitality.

Great place to stay in a great town.
Everything was very nice and tasty. Just enough for two people, the kitchen has everything one needs. The extra effort made with the sherry and chocolate on the bed, the coffee station was very cute. It is 4 min. away from the high street and close enough to everything. Suggestions: To use the same towel for 4 days, maybe only have 2 extra towels available in the closet. There isn't an oven I understand there isn't room for it, but maybe get a standing mini oven. The braai facilities outside were 100% would only suggest putting in another light because the light kept going off and on even if you put the light on at the switch, and maybe put a small steel table available outside. It also always rains a lot in Clarens, so putting a small roof over the door is not a bad idea, especially if you barbecue outside and you don't want to struggle with an umbrella in the rain. Furthermore, the hospitality was very good and we will definitely recommend Oak Leaves Cottage to people.
Would definitely recommend the place to anyone to visit.
It is a beautiful and tidy cottage that has everything you need and more. Laetitia is very pleasant and received us very kindly and pointed us to all the nice restaurants in Clarens.
