The place had everything we needed and more. It's beautiful, clean, and restful. The hosts are friendly and kind.
All utensils and cooking facilities are available, even herbs and spices. We were kindly received and even jumped on our bike when we couldn't find the house. Excellent communication. A tip is to include the fee in the booking amount. This will ensure that the person does receive a fee, and it will add value to the uniqueness of the home without notes on the walls.
Very nice stay. Will definitely recommend to guests. Friendly welcome and made very comfortable for us.
We spent a lovely weekend in Merweville. Samson received us kindly and constantly communicated via WhatsApp to hear if everything was alright. He cleaned the house and prepared the barbecue. The house is very fully equipped. There is a washing machine and a dishwasher. Suitable for short or long term stays.
The cottage was interesting and clean and tidy. The shower was disappointing.
Peaceful and blissful Karoo visit.
The cottage is very nicely furnished to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There are 2 more cottages next to you in the same location so the pool and outdoor area are shared. It's very cute and clean and within walking distance of The Book Club coffee shop.
We enjoyed the absolute Karoo peace and quiet so much, just to be able to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Samson was just a delight, and also showed us the other 2 houses on the site. He gave us all our privacy too.
The receptionist was very friendly and the place had good Karoo-style decor. We loved the friendly dog and the peace and quiet of the surroundings.
One of a kind cathartic Karoo stopover! There are three cottages, all with their own private amenities and an on site manager of the highest order. It's a cross between boho chic and a creative artist's haven, with a labyrinth to boot. Here you can truly relax in authentic yet very comfortable accommodation. Highly recommended.

- Please provide your own mosquito repellent. The mozzies can be nasty here. Spray bedroom around 16:00 and close windows to keep them out.
