Our family enjoyed the peace and quiet.
Oasis Holiday Resort is about 600 m within easy walking or driving distance from the sea. You can clearly hear the sea from the beautiful, level, grassy pitches under the most beautiful trees. Wilhelm and his team are always available to help pitch tents, chase away monkeys, man the hideout and make sure you bathe or shower at any time of the day or night in beautiful clean bathrooms with nice hot water. The resort does not have a commercial feel at all and each pitch is beautifully carved from the native coastal forest. A nice big Spar and dozens of other shops are literally just around the corner if you want to replenish your daily food and drink. If you are a mall crawler, you only have to drive about 3 km to Shelly Mall where you can properly express your shopping desire. About 30 m from the resort entrance is a local restaurant where you can eat delicious fresh fish, prawns and traditional Natal bunny chows. Uvongo beach is beautiful and safe with a fantastic ice cream shop and a real Italian restaurant literally on the edge of the rocks. We will definitely visit Oasis Holiday Resort again!

Friendly welcoming. The area is close to all the shopping centres and eateries. Would go again for sure. The ablutions were neat and always clean.
No shower in chalet. In peak season rates ridiculous for what you get. Grossly over charged. No swimming pool. Will not go back.
