We were really treated like chosen guests. Service was extremely friendly, hospitable and helpful.
We were a group of people, so we had 4 rooms. All were neat and clean, beds were comfortable. The staff is very friendly, the WiFi worked, and we even had our laundry done (and got it washed, ironed and folded very nicely back in each room). It wasn't even expensive. The security is good, parking is a bit of a problem if there are many rooms that are full, but we and the prams fit. The breakfast was very nice and enough with a variety of juices, tea and coffee. I would definitely recommend this place especially in February as the wind blew us away so we were all very glad we didn't camp.
Yes, it was very nice. Only the shower was a little cool the first morning, but only the first morning after that it was warm for the rest of my stay. The morning meals were top notch and thoroughly enjoyed. The receptionist was very helpful with her knowledge of attractions and even booked me a boat trip to Halifax Island. Five stars.
I visited Kolmanskop, visited Diaz point and visited the museum. There is beautiful architecture and interesting restaurants with unexpectedly delicious food.

Meet all our needs. The place is very well run, one can see it. Meals were tasty, room was clean, everything just said. We slept in a room that was also wheelchair friendly (something you rarely see).

The place is easy to find and reception, the rooms and restaurant are very neat. Parking available just outside your room even though it's a bit crammed. Meals are tasty and the service is good. We enjoyed our 2 days there.
Obelix is standard, but comfortable place to stay. Safety is good and the breakfast is excellent. The restaurant is a nice place to relax (good food) and we enjoyed braaing there. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The beds are somewhat uncomfortable (hard) as my main point for improvement.

It would appear that a large percentage of guests are government officials who probably do not have a choice of where they may stay. The standard of the rooms does not justify its price. The receptionist was not helpful.
Enough parking per unit but caravans and wagons take up some of the parking and therefore vehicles have to sleep in the street. It made no impact when we reported it.
It was a special place to stay. The reception was very helpful and friendly. Very clean rooms. We left early in the morning and to our surprise they made us road food for breakfast. The restaurant's food is tasty and very well prepared. Will definitely stay there again. You can give the staff a thumbs up - very competent.

Other accommodation in Luderitz was already fully booked and Obelix was the last choice. Neat, clean, for overnight stay only. However, the breakfast was a completely different experience. The dining area was lovely and vivid. The personalization of seats is new and appreciated. The staff in the eatery were wonderful and the food delicious.
Very nice place with friendly people.
Well located and comfortable accommodation. However, my room lacked one essential, namely a reading lamp or bedside lamp. It is unforgivable that at this price the room lacks such a basic necessity!
