We enjoyed it very much.
Sewage smell in the river right next to the resort due to municipal absence definitely had a negative impression on the use of the beach and accessibility to the sea. Without the smell and presence of sewage, it would have been an unforgettable holiday. Thanks for the red wine.
When traveling to that side again I will again do my booking with Ocean Breeze again. My children and spouse loved it as well and they had a wonderful time there, especially with the swimming pool.

I would love to stay there again! The place is perfectly located and if we weren't on the beach (walking distance!) we were in the pool. The unit is neatly and tastefully furnished. The owner was helpful with load shedding schedules and summary of Blue (e. coli free) stands, without me having to ask. Staff/security on the grounds were friendly and helpful. My family and I had an amazing time and would book unit 29 again any day!
The security guard's service is top notch. He does much more than his job. Bath towels, toilet paper, WiFi and cleaning service are small things that can make a big difference in convenience. We still had a nice stay and were received very kindly.
The unit itself is very well looked after and tidy, there were no problems. The things that made our time less enjoyable were things like weather and the water quality in the sea, which the unit's owners have no control over.
We visit Winkelspruit quite often and Ocean Breeze is always an affordable option. Complex is very well managed and maintained.
Owner never mentioned that the beaches in the area are closed. According to the complex management, all owners are aware of the problem and should have communicated it to tenants before paying their deposit. The problem with the sewage drains in Natal is right in your back yard and you can hardly breathe. We had to run away every day to get fresh air. The nearest open beach is 70 km away and this took a terrible toll on our budget because we wanted to spend as little time as possible at the unit. All 3 of my children and wife started getting sick on day 4 and I suspect it was due to the air being unbearable. Spoke to other holidaymakers in the same complex and we paid about double the normal rate per night. No fans or air conditioning. You can't open the door for fresh air because the mosquitoes are like a plague and the smell overwhelms the unit. Owner only mentioned the mosquito problem to us. No what stays away.
