4 guests' feedbackThe apartment felt like 'home away from home'. Quiet area, nice view and safe to come and go as my working hours changed, even if it was sometimes midnight. No noise from traffic or neighbors. Comfortable and cuddly bed and great bathroom amenities. The fully equipped kitchen is a bonus. I would definitely book the unit again for a getaway.
I must say I was pleased with everything except one thing that irritated me. When I made the booking they gave me an amount of R300 they requested as a 50% deposit. When I paid the deposit then only did they inform me that I needed to pay a further R600 on top of it. This is very misleading and further to that they said it was for cleaning services so I was annoyed but didn't stress about it too much. However when I arrived there they said the cleaner will only come the day I check out. Is this fair? Disappointed.
Will go back and use Ocean Elephant again anytime. It's a great unit.
I had a great stay and will definitely use Ocean Elephant again. I only had 1 problem. In the advertisement they do not mention the extra R2000.00 deposit that you have to pay. And I feel it should be mentioned, because some people go to the Cape on a budget and then they shake you of another R2000.
