Neat comfortable place to sleep.
We really enjoyed our stay, especially the beach being walking distance. The space and location was really convenient. The host was really nice and warm.
Our stay was wonderful. Rouxve was lovely and opened up the entire bottom floor for us to use while we were there. It was very peaceful, spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. We also made full use of the fully equipped kitchen, just remember to bring all food/condiments with. The only downside we noticed was that the WiFi and data signal wasn't great, which may be expected in an area without Fibre. The TV was connected to the network though and streaming Netflix wasn't an issue.
We did not realise that it is quite far out of the way. . The gas geyser in the main en-suite was a problem on a windy day. The part that really irritated me was that the owners daughter went into the accommodation to collect a baby chair but failed to inform us that they were going in while we were out. I think this is unacceptable. I raised it with her given that we were communicating but honestly we were not happy about it. We do not know who entered the house and for how long. It is not right.
The apartment was very comfortable and nice and tidy. Large rooms and the extra bathroom and 3rd toilet also impressed us a lot. Aston Bay beach is only a few minutes walk from the garden gate and we really enjoyed this beach. We will definitely stay there again and visit.
We had a lovely weekend and I would recommend this place definitely. And it was just a stone's throw away from the beach. My recommendation is 5 stars.
